Hello,

I could not find either "Add joint sponsor"/ "Add Household member" in my account and I need to add joint sponsor in my account.

Please suggest how to add joint sponsor docs. My interview is in next week.

Thank you,

Just take those documents the joint sponsor documents and affidavit of support to the interview.

Thanks for the response but would not it be required to add joint sponsor documents in CEAC?

As long as the CO approves it you should be ok. Unless the CO specifically tells you to upload it to CEAC. If your income is not below the threshold you might not need a joint sponsor.

@spikyom Can you please provide more information?

I have my consulate interview in 2 weeks, and I have the Joint Sponsor's I-864 and Supporting Documents ready in physical format to take with me to the consulate for my interview. I too do not have the option to "Add a Joint sponsor" in my CEAC account.

Some people say that adding documentation at this stage will cause delays, whereas others say that the Consulate prefers to have updated documentation for review ahead of the interview. What did your CO prefer?

Thanks!!!
