Hello Everyone,

Sending out AOS docs today. Instructions for I485 say local office (except for employment related), but VJ AOS guide says Chicago Lock box.

Anybody know for sure?? If so, do you have the address??

01/29/2007 NVC Left - Headed for Bangkok!

02/07/2007 Packet 3 mailed from US Embassy!

02/10/2007 Packet 3 received

02/20/2007 Packet 3 mailed (EMS Next Day)

02/21/2007 Packet 3 Received at Embassy (no signature)

03/06/2007 Received response from Embassy - Packet 4 mailed 02/28/07. Interview scheduled 5/16/2007!

05/16/2007 Interview. Embassy requests passport amended. Luckily the turnaround time is two days in Bangkok.

05/21/2007 Pu returns to Embassy with new passport, visa granted. Visa issued the following day.

05/26/2007 Pu arrives in USA!

05/30/2007 Married!

06/26/2007 Overnighted AOS petition to Chicago Lockbox

06/27/2007 AOS petition delivered to Chicago lockbox, signed for by V Bustamante

You should send everything to the Chicago Lock box. The address should be on the forms.

It's best not to separated the various forms, the USCIS will decide where they send what.

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

04.19.10: Package sent to Vermont

04.21.10: Delivered in Vermont

04.22.10: NOA date

04.23.10: Check cashed

05.17.10: Received biometrics appointment letter

06.07.10: Biometrics Appointment

06.26.10: Touched

07.07.10: Card Production Ordered!

07.17.10: Card in the mail :) Done until citizenship

I don't know what instructions you are reading but I have the AOS instructions/documents in front of me and it says applying for AOS the address is :

via USPS

USCIS

PO BOX 805887

Chicago, IL 60680-4120

or for courier delivery

USCIS

The address is listed in the instructions on the I-485.... if you hve not read the instructions, I highly suggest you do so BEFORE you mail your I-485.

Not true. We filed the AOS, EAD and AP simultaneously using the lockbox address.

OK, I see where I was confused. I was looking at page 5 "where I should file I-485".

I have the correct address for the chicago lock box. Thanks!
