Everyone doubts that their package is processing properly.  It takes 2 to 4 weeks to get a NOA1. Patience.

Trust the process. It's worked for years. No need to follow-up unless you have not heard from USCIS with your NOA1after 30 days.

With COVID - At the immigration clinic I help at the clients get 99% of the NOA1s within 6 weeks.  So at 6 weeks I'd be reaching out to lockbox support.

Including a G-1145 means that you should get the notice a day or two after it is actually scanned and completed.  Making sure everything is scannable and legible leads to a faster turnaround.   Don't include photobooks, stapled or folded items.

Our friend, no need to worry totally as I did sent my petition through ups on 2nd March 2020 and got noa1 on 1st April 2020. You just  start the journey so don't worry too much and be patience as we all did ,though I totally know about your worries but still  pray for you to get noa1 soon.

Note1 we too include G-1145.

Note1 we contacted uscis after 28days after we sent the petition actually, to inquire about our petition and then he got text msg on 1st apri2020.

Hope for the best!

USCIS is notorious about not sending an email notification even with a G-1145. Most don't receive an email but it's not typical not to receive a NOA1 or NOA2 by snail mail so keep an eye out for those.

After you receive your NOA1 then use the link below to sign up for an account (use the WAC# that will be printed on the NOA1) with USCIS to receive updates and to view action and history on your account.

Can I share somethings with you that I learned long ago about this process?

    • "the man with the gold makes the rules"
    • it will take as long as it will take
    • no one with any certainty can tell you when some process will be completed
    • Your sense of urgency will never be equaled to what USCIS, NVC or your embassy demonstrates
    • Your journey is not going to mirror someone else's experience - yours and theirs are not the same
    • They only promised you a YES or NO answer. Never an exact time that their decision would be completed
    • Lowering your expectations will make you a much more relaxed individual

Good luck on your journey
