Im not sure if we’re allowed to post timing questions so as to not overwhelm the board with similar content, but we got I-797C saying our application was received with a receipt date of March 31.

It’s well past the window now and I was just curious if others are seeing similar patterns out of the Laguna Niguel, California center.

I submitted an outside normal processing window form a week after it fell past the receipt date window at the start of November (‘20), but was told “we’ll respond by November 25th.” lmao!

During COVID times this is actually extremely normal.

I don't know if you've browsed through the March or April NOA1 filing thread. If not, you should.

There are tons of people still waiting for a response, myself included.

Oh thank you so much! That actually makes me feel a lot better just reading your reply and hearing others are also in the same position.

Don't worry :) I know it must be really stressful, wanting to hear back ASAP and stuff.

Just remember that the original timeline of 5-7 months don't really apply anymore. It's also not really first come first serve, as some December 2019 files are still waiting to hear back.

Good luck!

@trliber

There is a progress tracking forum for April filers (NOA1).  You might want to join it and keep track with your fellow filers.
