I have received my green card, my daughter is suppose to follow, she is currently in Jamaica. She is now 20 and I have not received any communications for her. I have troed calling but I'm not able to speak to a human and when I check with the automated service it just says the application was received a receipt sent out. What do I do next?

Follow to join green card interviews are resuming in January, if she has already been DQ'd.

When you say the application was received, do you mean i824? When was it filed/what exactly has been filed so far?

All paper works are filed. I got my green card in October. I had received a receipt for my daughter. The petition filed  was I-130 for alien relative. My husband filed for us both at the same time. Her paper works went in with mine, at the same time and a receipt was sent to me acknowledging that they had received her documents.

I am getting a little confused as to what has happened from your descriptions. Can you clarify: was there one petition with you as principal and her as derivative, or a separate petition filed for her?
If one petition, was she listed as follow to join?

Sorry for the confusion. Yes it was one petition, she is listed as follow to join.

So has the form i824, action on approved petition, that needs to be filed for follow to join, been done yet?

When does she turn 21?

Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Emailed; is what I'm seeing when I check the case status. I did receive that email and I have heard nothing since. I received my green card last month.

Again: has an i824 been filed?

so is the case received notice you posted above for the i824? When was that filed? You only have receipt not approval for i824?  Has DS260 been submitted?

I just spoke to the lawyer who filed on our behalf. He states that it was an I130 that was filed for us both and all fees are paid for us both.
