Hey there.  I sympathize with you both.  My receipt date for I-129/E-3 is June 29 and I am still waiting.  My husband also is waiting on I-765 but that seems months away (same receipt date). And whole family for I-539 extension.

I am watching your posts to see who gets over the line and when.... hopefully it won't be much longer.  Insaneness.

Keep posting on here.

Hey guys. E3 applicant here.

USCIS received file Aug 06th. My wife and kids are applied under i539. Initially things for them moved very fast. By Sept 03rd they even got their biometrics done. Since then haven't heard anything. We have an appointment with US consulate in Toronto for May. Thought of going to Australia but the air tickets are like $3800 then another $3k for hotel quarantine. I know Bepster# story from reddit. But does nobody else have a positive story?

We gave up on USCIS after receiving an RFE...

My wife is in Sydney know and stuck in the hotel quarantine. Besides it being much faster to go the consulate route, it also appears to be much less risky.

We feel very fortunate the her employer is picking up the tab for the whole thing as they treat it is a regular business travel.

Hey guys, We too filed my I-129/E-3 on June 29th (received date USCIS), and my husbands I-765, plus husband and kids I-539 - all June 29th receipt date USCIS Vermont.  Still not a word.  Husband and kids did their biometrics September 27th 2020.

We too looked at flights to Australia - Sydney or Melbourne.  Says Sydney has a two and half month wait for appointments at  Consulate, and Melbourne 2.5weeks.  Flights for four $25-30k plus $5k quarantine.  Ouch!  We are dual citizenship New Zealand, but cant go there as quarantine fully booked til end May and they are not opening any more spots.  Too afraid to try Mexico City or Santiago as may get stuck there.  Do you guys look at the AmericaJosh website - there is also a tracking system there for visa appointments - shows which Consulates are doing E-3s.

If you look at the app Case Tracker (has an app symbol of white eagle with american flag in background).  You can search case numbers around yours to see if anyone else is approved etc.  I did 100 case numbers (about 15 before and 85 after me).  We are almost the ONLY ones that say Case Received - I think I saw maybe four others.  Everyone else is approved, or denied (small amount), or error with case.  I feel like maybe our case file has fallen behind someone's desk or something.  Why us?  I am sure you feel the same MrsPsycho.  We did a congressional enquiry last week, but that takes time too.  I have to stop work end of this week.....  I am so stressed. :(

Did you try contacting your local  congressman or Ombudsman? I did both. I followed up with congressman a week after they submitted expedite request but sad my case was week since its still within processing time. And Ombudsman responded back within 2 days saying the same. (I'm Aug 06th). I have so much anxiety because for the poast 3 months the processing times have moved back around this time every month. Hoping it doesn't so that I can go over and get help from congressman and Ombudsman.  We've been without pay since July.  But clearly uscis, congressman doesn't care.

Yes I see they moved the dates back 15 days - it was July 25 now July 10.  I am June 29th so in theory should have been processed by now.  Yes, we went through Senior Senator and did a congressional inquiry last week.  I will follow up this week and enquire with them to push them along.  This whole thing is so unbelievable.  Playing with peoples lives like this.  I completely get your stress.  I cant sleep, eat..... 3 more days of work left for me.  Husband has not worked since last June.  As soon as I get any type of response, I will post it here.

I feel like I have been putting too much faith the "normal processing time" estimates. It's based on data that is 2 months old and even with that in mind, they are completely off.

At the moment, the "estimates" do a lot more harm than good and we just feel strung along.

Oh yeah.... I am definitely guilty of putting all my eggs in the npt's basket. I plan my life according to it. Honestly now I'm just looking forward to my May 18th Appt at the us consulate in Toronto. When I got that Appt back in Dec, I was like... No way its going that far. But now I'm pretty sure. Your Rfe is definitely disheartening but Atleast now we know an officer did look at your file. Till now I thought they just buried it under all the h1b's.

Yes!  OMG finally.  We are Fedexing our request off tomorrow.  I am sure they wait until you are uber stressed, then lay the premium processing on you to make extra $'s!!!!!  Anyhow, I'm not complaining.  At least I will be back at work in two weeks.

Hope you are doing the request too Mrspsycho!
