Yeah I think you are fortunate to have your interview as soon as it is. Perhaps, they have already done some background stuff already for your husband. From your timeline, I see that you filed mid-2005, so they've certainly had time!!! FYI, from consultation with the Embassy, they say that further security clearances could be required AFTER the interview. I think this would only be for exceptional cases however.

I myself REALLY wanted to be there for her interview, but my job is making it difficult to get away. She will be there with her Mom and older sis. I'm paying for them to have a fun trip (and oh yeah, get the visa).

Please let me know if you have any questions, cuz I've been studying this whole process like I'm taking a Midterm Exam.

I won't be going with my husband either. I understand about the work difficulty! I only have just over a week of vacation and no way to get off in June. But at least I can use that week when he gets here!!

How exciting!! Our loved ones will be with us soon!!! I think the "adjustment" part for them is going to be so much fun! I have so many trips planned like the Grand Canyon and such.

I'm with you on the studying part! I have enjoyed ever minute of it!! I was thinking about taking some classes to help others along.

I'm in Northern California. Yes there are SOOOOO many things I want to do with my fiancee once she's here (she has never been to the States). I just can't allow myself to think of them too much till she sets foot here though.
