Congrats you found one county in Cali that adjusted down.  Hardly a statistical trend . Kind of like saying Trump won, because one county in 4 states had a miscount

It's really quite silly how this got to be some kind of conspiracy or something. In almost every state there is a huge backlog of cases that need to be examined if those deaths are truly COVID or not. In other states there are still bodies piled up in trucks.

 

Why can a death be ruled COVID initially before being revised down? There's numerous reasons why and none are nefarious. It's the same reason why in MD and neighboring states case counts get adjust UP every week as they clear a backlog and re-examine cases and find that yes, the patient did die of COVID rather than some other cause which may have been similar in nature or had a cause that may have been caused by COVID but also required more investigating because of it's undetermined nature. They usually put them on the tracker as today's deaths and *additional deaths (they usually dump the counts on a Sunday).

One county that admitted to it.  There are (statistically) thousands more.  So much over-counting of covid went on last year, and I seriously doubt we will ever get anywhere near an accurate covid/non-covid death count, sadly.  Just as there are many people who "tested positive" for covid who never even got tested.  It was (and shall remain) a hot mess for the most part.

Yep.  And whenever someone came in here and tried to expose the truth, the usual suspects mocked them and called them crazy conspiracy theorists.  

 

Looks like they weren't so crazy after all, as more of the truth comes to light.
