Today I went grocery shopping without a mask for the first time  in a LONG time.  Publix no longer requires masks and I am fully vaccinated so I went and most were still masked but some of us were not.  Unfortunately I still have to wear a mask at work.  But life seems to be getting back to normal.  After many months with no jobs I now have 2 cases and work 60 hours a week 7 days a week!

Congrats on being gainfully employed once again!

 

Hard to believe your experience was so draconian in Florida.  I thought they were mostly open for a while now?

Yes, I have been tracking this for some time.  On average about 10k more deaths per week then historically normal, so overall about 500k more in 2020.  We will see what happens in 2021/2022.

Ugh... I saw the video.. guy is a moron. Their food is amazing to me, and he's just totally eating it like such food is beneath him. Who eats fries like that? Also I'm going to assume he was just too cheap to get a drink (since you have to order everything separately and they are pricey).

 

 

Anyway... I think I am all recovered from vaccine 2 now. Tiredness and joint pain have continued off and on, as well as itching. But I don't think I've turned into a mutant cyborg. My husband's heart issues seem to have also disappeared. The primary didn't think the vaccine was the main culprit, but the cardiologist does (there's been studies). Still.. they are running a bunch of tests on him to be sure. They just called because he has to have a pre-screening COVID test before they will let him into the hospital. (SIGH) He's vaccinated for goodness sake!

Saw two heartbreaking Covid related cases in the office yesterday.  

 

First was a heavy set lady in her late 60's.  Hadn't seen her in over a year.  She came in with her oxygen on.  I asked her why she now needed oxygen and she told me that she and her husband both got the virus back in January.  He got it first but did OK.  She apparently got it from him and didn't do well.  She ended up spending just over a month in the hospital with much of it in the ICU on a ventilator.  Over 3 months later and she is still suffering.  She said they had rarely left the house, only to go grocery shopping.

 

Second case was a young lady that I had seen both her and her husband in the past.  She shared her sad story with my hygienist.  Her husband had been a VERY outgoing guy and loved interacting with people.  With the lock down and the following changes, he was only working from home and not getting out.  He got very depressed, and I suppose there were other issues.  He took his own life just two weeks ago.  So sad.

Aside from the fear porn the MSM loves to push, it seems these samples are 3-4 years old.  Is it really a current event?

It shows us that in the background, coronaviruses are spreading from one animal species into another, and that over time, are making the next evolutionary leap naturally into humans. It shows us that at least in this case so far, dog coronaviruses haven't managed to yet go from human to human, but that may only be a matter of time. Dogs and cats are our closest animal companions more than a bat. More and more we are finding that our close bonds to pets can actually cause us to spread a variety of different illnesses between us.

 

With COVID, they are currently working on a vaccine for animals - in particular felines, which should be of good value to zoos and eventually our pets.

AGAIN?  The last time he did that, we ended up with covid-19.  I think it's high time he retired.
