Back in early December, one of the children my wife was watching tested positive and was sick with mostly flu like symptoms for about two days.  He is fine now, and no one else, his parents, the other child or my wife ever tested positive.

When my doc learned this, she asked how much (I wasn't sure); she indicated that doing so was a very good idea during this time, and she stopped just short of recommending that I take even more (on the basis of my uncertainty).

 

She herself had survived a mild case of the coronavirus in autumn.

Officially "truly" negative for the Groan-a-virus.

 

Video doc (whom I know and trust implicitly) says that people not formally deficient in Vitamin D should generally take no more than 1,000 IU extra beyond what's in their multivitamin.

My doctor prescribes me way more than that, but I was severely deficient.

  We had the Pfizer vaccine. We still have to observe Covid protocols, so if someone runs a fever after getting the vaccine, they still have to miss work for 24 hours. Apparently it's not uncommon to run a fever after the second dose. We are really more concerned with the second dose, but the scheduling of that is tied to the first one. We thought making everyone get it before a day off would be easier than having everyone get a managers approval to get it scheduled. 

 

  Everyone is saying side effects hit after about 6-8 hours and last for about a day (from the first dose). Mostly it's a really sore arm at the injection site and feeling tired/weak the next day.

Acquaintance who heard about this says that the only thing even dumber than what the above clown did was to confess to it.

  The setup makes it difficult for someone to inadvertently have that many vials out at once. Every lot number on every vial is recorded and scanned and the time out and given is also monitored. You are only taking enough doses for the number of people you can vaccinate in the next 30-60 minutes.  I imagine the questions being asked made them realized the gig was up.

   I agree. Loss of job and jail time at least. I have worked with a few people who are against vaccination. I don't like to generalize, but it seems to me that when people in the health care field are anti-vax, they tend to be very strongly against it.Since several vaccines are mandatory for us, there also is the potential for some resentment when people feel they are being forced to get them. I really avoid even discussing it with them because it's very difficult to keep it rational. Perhaps this was the case here, because it just seems like a vindictive and irrational thing to do to others.

I should have figured that things were this organized.  Yes, the confession is less surprising now.
