Incoming Secretary Of State Under Fire For Birthday Party At Her Home

Quote

Shemia Fagan Oregon’s newly elected Secretary of State held a birthday party for one of her children at her home over the weekend.  She’s one of several politicians defying Governor Kate Brown’s order to keep gatherings to 6 from the same family.  A neighbor took pictures  from across the street and sent them to PJ Media.

Yet another demented targeting of churches by yet another Democrat leader gets flushed by the courts:

Churches win court appeal over Sisolak’s COVID-19 restrictions, Sisolak responds

Quote

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturned an order Tuesday that upheld limited gatherings in Nevada’s houses of worship.

Gov. Steve Sisolak placed limits on the number of people who could gather at a church as part of his COVID-19 restrictions. The limit was set at 50 people or 50% of the fire code occupancy, whichever was fewer people. The restrictions were upheld by a lower court judge, earlier in the year.

The churches, Calvery Church in Las Vegas and another location in Dayton, Nevada appealed saying “gathering its members in one building is central to [its] expression of [its] faith in Jesus Christ.”

Recently, the U.S. Supreme Court decided against pandemic restrictions at houses of worship in New York. That decision played heavily in the 9th Circuit’s decision.

The owner of my company died from complications from Covid 19. 82 years old. I guess when you are 82 and go in the hospital with covid the outcome is usually not going to be good. The covid doesn't care how much money you have or how important you are when it comes for you.

Sad really he was really a good and decent self made man who did so much for his community and helped so many people in his life. His passing made the local news. He was really a steward of the community. Such a long list of people he has helped thru the years and such a supporter of the local military community. A very successful man but treated everyone so kindly. Working for him is like working with family.

His wife fell ill about 15 years ago and for 15 years he pushed her around in a wheel chair and ate dinner with every night when she was in the care home. Those were the golden years he had planned to travel and enjoy life. She died about a year ago and he remarried last month knowing his time on earth was probably short, but hoping for a few good years to finally enjoy life.

Description of side effects after receiving vaccine. Sounds like a wild 24hrs, but I suppose that pales in comparison to actually having the disease. There's still so many questions though... https://www.wsj.com/articles/covid-19-vaccine-trial-volunteers-note-occasional-harsh-side-effects-11608114601

Serious adverse allergic reaction in Alaskan healthcare worker. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/16/health/covid-pfizer-vaccine-allergic-reaction.html Patient apparently had no known prior allergies. So far it hasn't seemed like many, but I hope we can figure this out..

Already in round 2 as I told the wife would happen we're seeing more people reject these authoritarian measures. Will be even more prominent for round 3. Where we're seeing the most ignoring of rules are from socialized cultures from immigrant communities. Notably, they moved to these countries for freedom, not to go from one authoritarian or useless government to another. While some haughty mask couture westerners prance around mocking freedom and supporting authoritarianism, the very people they often give lip service to (or rather, use as political cudgels) actually tend to value the things they mock, demonstrating their palpable disconnect, never mind functional uselessness.

Unless they were in Congress where the Patriot Act passed 357-66 and 98-1. At least party fanatics are consistent about their authoritarianism. Why it's good to be an independent.. where I was never a supporter of the Patriot Act and never a supporter of mask mandates. Cute "meme". 😎

Considering the fact that there are a lot of high profile leaders (mostly Democrats) pushing masks and social distancing on the masses and yet ignoring these mandates themselves it is no wonder there is pushback.

The low level fanatics tend to miss that they are generally never the benefactors of such power grabs. I've seen plenty of good memes on this though.. 😀
