Well I have been poked and prodded by several doctors now, 7 days after my booster. I seem to have come down with a nasty delayed reaction. It was small at first and then grew down my entire arm; it was joined by the appearance of hives. Their solution thus far has been to have me combine just about any antihistamine they can think of, and then when nothing would abate, start pred. Of course they all have their own hypothesis, this is a rare but not uncommon reaction that decided to appear for some reason now. Am I truly allergic? Is it a Tcell hypersensitivity? What should I do next time? When will it go away? They aren't sure. I am afraid they waited a little too long on the pred, and now half my body looks quite silly.

Anyway I'm still not dead yet. I would love to get into an ice bath though, as half my body feels on fire.

Sorry to hear about your reaction.  Get well soon.

I have been hearing from several of my patients and even my own mother about reactions following the booster, mostly from people that did NOT have any reaction to the first two jabs.  Fortunately none seem to be as severe as yours.

Making me think twice about getting the booster at the moment.

This vaccine is really interesting.  My wife and I both had Moderna, and we both had little issues with the first jab, mild flu like symptoms after the second one that lasted 1-2 days, and almost no reaction (I don’t count the sore arm as anything special) to the third jab we got three weeks ago.

I chose Pfizer in the hopes I could avoid this problem, as I know Moderna does have a higher chance of it. It is typically called "COVID arm", and my mom and sister had it (a large red ithcy circle around the site for about a week). This started as the small circle so initially I wasn't that concerned since the other two shots didn't have much effect, but oh my god yesterday it covered the entire arm from shoulder to wrist and my lip was so swollen. The pred/allergy med combo has knocked it down a little and underneath all that angry red are purple bruises around not only the new injection site but the previous one.

They have talked about my Tcells being too aggressive in responding to the spike protein. This could happen if I were even exposed to COVID naturally... more frequent to happen in those with allergy issues. I've looked at a lot of papers on the subject.... still think it's worth it, but I'll have to be consulting the specialist before trying this again. The older I get the more stuff I'm allergic to... annoying.

Stunning Covid data from Denmark

But not for the reason you've been told; the story is vaccine failure, not Omicron

The Danes are now publishing extremely detailed daily data about Covid cases and hospitalizations - not just about Omicron, but all Covid variants.

And, in news that will surprise precisely no one who has been alive the last two years, they paint a picture entirely different than what the media claims.

Omicron - which continues to appear significantly less dangerous though more transmissible than earlier variants of Covid - has been used as a cover for vaccine failure.

Most new Covid cases in Denmark occur in people who are vaccinated or boosted - and that is true for both Omicron and earlier variants. More than 76 percent of non-Omicron Covid infections in Denmark are in vaccinated people, along with about 90 percent of Omicron infections.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has been wildly inflating the number of “vaccinated” Americans by counting potentially tens of millions of “boosters” and second doses as first time shots, according to a report from Bloomberg News.

To give you an idea of the scale of the CDC’s overreporting, in just one state, Pennsylvania, the CDC overreported the number of first doses for the elderly “by about 850,000” when compared to the state’s own revised estimates.

There’s only around 2.27 million elderly people (aged 65 and over) in all of Pennsylvania.

“Alison Beam, the state’s acting health secretary, said their review showed that some first doses were actually second doses — meaning that fully inoculated people were counted twice as half-vaccinated,” Bloomberg reported.

In Germany it would have been closed because of COVID fears. You have to be triple vaccinated AND show proof you have had a swab test in last 24 hours to eat there. I am triple vaccinated and was denied entry because I didn't want to make an appointment to have my nose swabbed. "Let them eat cake".
