LOL, it is VERY clear you are guessing, since you seem to not know the difference between the two.  Here's a primer for you:  https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/wellness/n95-vs-kn95-which-mask-is-better-for-you/ar-BB1dzzsp

https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/where-to-buy-n95-kn95-masks-online/#our-favorite-surgical-style-mask

KN95 masks (China’s N95 equivalent) should block out 95% of 0.3-micron particles; KF94 and FFP2, 94%. All are made with similar layers of high-filtration nonwoven materials.

Unlike N95 masks, these other respirator masks typically have ear loops instead of headbands. People often encounter good filtration but a bad fit when shopping for a KN95. The same goes for N95 masks that aren’t customized (as they typically would be in a hospital setting). A January 2021 PLOS One article on mask-fit issues reported that a KN95 was a poor fit for all seven study participants, while the five N95 masks in the experiment did little better—failing to fit four out of seven subjects. Even a bit of extra fat in the chin or a few millimeters in the width of the nose can have an impact on a respirator’s fit, the authors noted.

You're worried about 15 in a thousand?  SIXTEEN TIMES THAT, or 250 out of every thousand die from heart disease.  That's one American dead every 36 seconds!  But have we shut down fast food joints?  No.

Let's peep some other stats.  Abortions in 2017 was 862,000 (My body, my choice, eh?).  606,520 cancer deaths in 2020.

What about births?  A new human is born about every 8 seconds.  3,900,750 births per year, in spite of the abortions above.  The death clock shows someone dies every 11.1 seconds.  2,830.866 every year.  So even with people dying from heart disease, cancer, and (supposedly) covid, we have a net population gain of 1,069,884 every year.  I think we will be ok as a nation.

Here's the thing... while ALL of us wish to cheat death for as long as we possibly can, no one gets off the planet alive, period.  All kinds of diseases kill the weakest among us every year.  That's simply part of the life cycle.  Everyone had best get used to the idea of covid, because it AIN'T GOING AWAY, ever.  Thanks to whomever had a hand in developing this particular nasty virus, we now have another virus trying to wipe us out.  THAT is the real travesty that is being ignored.

N95 masks are the only type of mask short of a respirator that provide SOME protection from viruses. They provide some protection for the wearer against infected people. They however do nothing whatsoever to prevent the wearer from spreading viruses to others. They were designed to protect the wearer from infected people not to protect other people from the wearer. They are designed to seal against your face when inhaling filtering inhaled air and push away from your face when exhaling allowing exhaled air to escape unfiltered. Surgical masks were designed for a sterile surgical environment and are used to prevent stuff from falling off the medical staff's face into an open wound. They provide no protection whatsoever outside that environment. Cloth masks and masks made out of your old pair of underwear do nothing to protect you or others and are just theatre.

Pesky, those facts are.  Not to mention that I have seen a few brands of surgical masks that say right on the box that they are not intended for use against covid-19.

You requested, and never responded to, the links outlining the studies showing the effectiveness of masks re Covid transmission.  You can make up your own narrative about masks if you choose to.

further proof the vaccine works. Someone on FB was was going on and on about how the vaccine was dangerous and a govt conspiracy, but goes down to Tractor Supply and buys IVOMEC and takes it, because someone posted it might be be effective against the virus although there is zero real studies done that back this up.

IVOMEC is an anti parasite drug used animals, mostly to treat heartworms in dogs. Can be fatal if taken incorrectly.

Mississippi officials warn against using livestock ivermectin to prevent COVID-19 after rise in poison control calls

"Please don’t do that," the state health officer said

(CNN) -- Mississippi health officials are warning residents not to take an anti-parasitic drug -- in most cases, a formulation purchased at livestock supply centers -- to treat or prevent COVID-19.

The Mississippi State Department of Health issued an alert on Friday that the Mississippi Poison Control Center has received an increasing number of calls from people who have taken the drug known as ivermectin -- and that at least 70% of such calls related to "ingestion of livestock or animal formulations of ivermectin purchased at livestock supply centers."

A USA Today OP-ED from nearly a year ago.  They predicted 33% of Americans wouldn't get the vaccine, and I remember much discussion of how people wouldn't get the "Trump vaccine".  Kalamata Harris comes to mind as VERY vocal against it.

It seems that as many as 50% of Americans aren't as trusting as those in power would have them be.

It took forever for masks to be available to the purchasing public, and they were Chinese masks.

I don't think that I've seen any U.S.-made masks at all.

This is bitter irony.
