Nah it's about him getting butthurt over someone with a great deal of expertise in epidemiology saying something that he claims to have 'discovered', even though it's a known scientific thing that any epidemiologist would know. I love data and I like Nathan, but he is very full of himself.  Data nerds really are the most annoying kind of need

I have more expertise than you might imagine, but you will never see it, so I won't try and defend it.

 

As for where I stand, I don;'t conform to your simple meme at all.  I fall within the 50% of Americans who don't want to put experimental medicine inside myself just to further the manufactured political crisis.  It will all play out soon enough.

Whelp, we're in quarantine mode once again, after my sister got exposed at work (WHY WHY WHY do you come into work knowing that you have a positive case in your household and then put everyone there at risk and go oops my bad??!! I just...). Thankfully I can get her a spot to get tested at the same place I finally found last week.

I was honestly surprised he'd said something so stupid really, and he deserves the flack, nerd or not. Maybe he should stay in his wheelhouse and leave epidemiology to an expert?

Not really. He has to remind me of this nearly every day. He says that my reasoning -- that he is wrong -- is incorrect because it is more likely that I just need further instruction in the truth than it is likely that he is incorrect about anything. This turns on the fact that as a man, he is infallible.
