Visa Status Refused Montreal

My fiancée had her interview on October 26 at the Embassy in Montreal.  She passed her interview, but was refused that day due to not having her medical.  Her medical was done on the 19th, but was not completed in time for the interview.  They kept her passport and said that she was good and they were just waiting on her medical.  Her doctor finally sent her medical on November 06.  When I go to the CEAC website for an update there is an entry there from November 06 saying refused.  We have not gotten an email or anything asking for more information.  Is this just a timing thing and they are probably processing her medical?  I am not sure how this works.  I have emailed the Embassy for an update, but I am not holding my breath.  Has anyone gotten two refusals like that?  Should I be concerned?  Thanks for any input you may have.  This is making me want to throw up.

It’s glitch in NVC system, it’s shows same for those who were missing something at the time of interview. Soon it will change to issued

Not a glitch,  the visa was refused on the day of the interview, pending receipt of the items requested on the 221g.  If the 221g items are satisfactory,  then the application will proceed

YMMV

Only 2 options, refused or approved and you needed the medical to be approved.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

If you have applied for US Visa and received 221g Administrative Processing for your case, you would have checked your visa status on CEAC website. When you check the status, you used to see status of “Administrative processing”, but that would have changed to “refused” from March 3, 2020. Many users have reported and its verified as well that most of the 221g Cases status has changed to “Refused”, even when there was no real update on their ‘Case Last Updated Date’ or anything has changed. One key thing to note is the text under it has changed. It reads like below now.

“A U.S. Consular Officer has adjudicated and refused your visa application. Please follow any instructions provided by the consular officer. If you were informed by the consular officer that your case was refused for administrative processing, your case will remain refused while undergoing such processing. You will receive another adjudication once such processing is complete. Please be advised that the processing time varies and that you will be contacted if additional information is needed. For more information, please visit TRAVEL.STATE.GOV or the website for the Embassy or Consulate at which you made your visa application. For more information, please visit U.S. Consulate General <Consulate name>”

Pay close attention to the bold text, it basically tells that, if you were given Administrative processing, then it will be processed in administrative processing.

Hello!

Hopefully this has not been updated properly.

Mind you if I still go online for the very first step on my process it says “your case has been received.”

However, keep contacting the Embassy to get an accurate reply from them.

Best of luck!

Ap, which Consulate is this.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

AP should be short

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You passed the interview, AP is afterwards, usually just a few days in Canada.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
