Hello again everyone,

I just want to share my experience here. I can see other people have my same experience too.

I applied for AOS in March, in August took the biometrics and in September I received the Combo card. Surprisingly, in October I received another Notice of Action to take again the biometrics on November 9.

Last week I had the chance to speak at the phone with a USCIS officer who strongly recommended to go anyway, despite it was probably a USCIS mistake (he said it).  Not even my lawyer expected this.

So this morning I showed up and gave the notice at the front desk officer. The first thing he did, as soon as I told him that I already took the biometrics once and showed him the previous receipt, was to make fun of me. He asked if I could read, just because on the first NOA it is reported I-485 and I-765, whereas this time the NOA is referred to the I-131. I told him I was aware of the difference and I pointed out my conversation with a USCIS office at the phone. Nothing. He kept answering in a very unprofessional manner.  I apologized and went ahead.

I thought the Immigration center in my country sucked, but I am reconsidering USCIS too.
