Regardless of how reputable the company is, USCIS does not accept marriages where both parties were not present in the same location, UNTIL or UNLESS the marriage has been consummated.  In this context "consummated" means there's evidence they HAVE BEEN in the same place physically between the time of the legal marriage and the filing of the petition to start the immigration process.

With this in mind, it usually makes more sense to just get married when you are together.

That’s if you’re doing a K one or K to or K something else visa. If you’re just trying to get married so you can go to the Philippines on a 9A visa, they work perfect.

My fiancé and I got married on October 4/5. It was the fourth and Oklahoma and October 5 in the Philippines, 2020. I submitted my application to the Philippine Houston Texas consulate and received it back December 6 and arrived in the Philippines on December 11. True story of course USA been banned at the moment won’t do you much good. I did receive a 59 day visa. Planning on doing a six-month extension in two weeks.

Now I am confused: from your reply this marriage won’t be legal whereas the first reply suggested that it was sufficient for the couple to be together for it to be be recognised or did I get it wrong ?

If you’re trying to do a K2 visa. No. There have been two fellows Drive here in the Philippines recently after getting married online with wet web and they hadn’t even met their Filipina spouse before that in person. That would not work for a K visa. But, an IR1, it would work for after two years of marriage

My wife and I were married by this company on October 4/5, 2020. It was the 5th in the Philippines. I received  my 9A Visa on December 6, 2020. Left Wichita Kansas on December 10,2020 and arrived in Manila December 11, 2020. Got nostril and throat swab test done at the airport no choice. You have to get the swab test whether you have it scheduled or not. If you have it scheduled already it’s faster. Cost about US$85. I only had to spend 14 hours at the hotel though before I received my negative test results. I highly recommend Wedweb. If you use them don’t forget to get the Apostille certificate. I just presented the packet of information I got back from the Philippines Houston, Texas consulate and I got into the country perfectly fine. They are a great company to get married by if you’re looking for quick ceremony.
section 19 of Philippine marriage law says that marriage is a broader allowed as long as the country where the ceremony is being performed allows and recognizes them the Philippines will also.
Course, since the USA got put on the Philippines band last till January 15, 2021 anyway, I guess it really doesn’t matter

In my case we are already living together in Thailand so that should be fine

The problem is that they get so many inquiries every day that they can’t waste their time talking to people that are just trying to find out how it’s done what what  what.
If you email them they will reply even though it may not be instantly because they’re busy. They’re not just marrying international couples they’re  marrying Americans that are in separate countries also. Like an army guy in Germany wants to marry his girlfriend in Kansas they can do it. That’s actually how they got started in the business, marrying military folks that were stationed out of the USA.

the owners, Randy and CJ are great.

Only in America could a guy in Oklahoma get married to a girl in the Philippines with a marriage certificate and Apostille certificate issued by the state of Utah, officiated by a legal judge in Washington DC. Isn’t America great?
I gave them a five star rating all the way because we got married October fourth and I was in the Philippines December 11. Had to do a 13 hour quarantine in the hotel before I got my negative test results back from the NAIA international airport in Manila.

As a matter of fact, we eventually got in touch via WhatsApp and had an conversation over the phone, which helped me greatly understand what is to be done. Really , thanks for taking the time to write all these helpful informations

There are no viable K visas for spouses and haven't been for a decade.  This is a forum devoted to US Immigration of by foreign spouses.  It is not about getting a spouse visa to enter the Philippines.  I do find the information of interest be definitely off topic.

You evidently didn’t read my whole post. I’m not saying that this process works for K-visas. I’m saying it works for an American to get into the Philippines on a 9A visa. Works very very well. So yeah there’s that.

And, it’s called visa journey. It’s not just a one-way visa process sometimes. So there’s that also

I beg to differ as it is the opportunity to have the story in its context rather than bits and pieces.

Don’t BEG, it’s very unbecoming of you. I mistyped. It should’ve said it’s all about getting a spouse visa to travel out of the United States to the Philippines. I corrected it in the OP. It should’ve said it’s all about getting a spouse visa to travel out of the United States to the Philippines. I corrected it in the OP

Agreed but, then again, you have extensively and correctly replied to my query and I thank you for that

Yes, I did read it.  You said the service doesn't work for K visas.  This is a specific topic in a forum specific to obtaining a spouse visa to come live in the USA.  While your story and information may be interesting to some, (It interests me as an option for some of my friends .  I'm a USC currently living in the Philippines. but have friends with no way to get back.) it is off topic in this particular forum, and your references to K visas is irrelevant to even your story, because there are no viable K visas for married people.

Yes, I just wanted to get the Philippines to be here for our newborn twins first Christmas. And I did receive my visa December 6, 2020 and arrive in the Philippines December 11, 2020. Thanks for your opinion. If I had four dollars I could use your opinion and the four dollars to buy a hot coffee.

That your story is off topic for this forum is not an 'opinion"  Nice twins.
