Interesting, back when my wife was going through AOS those getting interview waivers were waiting 12-14 months or longer to get their GCs, and those getting interviews like my wife were getting GCs in less than six months.  There were a lot of members asking how they could get on the interview path.  I have never heard the supposition that only those suspected of fraud were brought in for an interview back then, and I assume if that was the case everyone would experience a Stokes interview which to my knowledge and personal experience is not the case.  There are a lot of factors that affect processing time, but re-instituting interview waivers, which is something I would not disagree with, is no guarantee that processing times will decrease.

If you look into it I think it’s clear the likelihood of processing times going back to something less absurd (as they had been for decades), if the very recent mandatory interview requirement is cancelled, is quite high.

I'm not pissed about anything. I went through the process the same way as others. I had to wait and wait and wait. I also had to postpone the start date at my current job because the USCIS didn't respond to my EAD expedition request. Nothing was easy for me but I knew it's the game I had to play. And adios, good luck with your life in Spain.

Aw you’re going to make me cry with your story :( I’m sure not getting your EAD expedited is heartbreaking. Loving life here actually, putting the whole USCIS process aside. Came well prepared financially for a year long wait just in case because I knew the wait was going to be looooooooong. Surprised you didn’t come prepared? USCIS doesn’t care about people like you crying over a job

Right and during the Trump era applications decreased significantly so less applications = less money. They needed the funding and was refused any of it despite new immigration policies being the direct cause of applications decreasing. Increasing fees didn’t even help. C’mon we’re all adults I don’t think any of this is hard to understand

They haven't even increased the fees though so stop lying. The amount of applications hasn't gone done in fact they have all gone up, not to mention the amount of asylum claims. Which nobody pays for the asylum claims to be processed at all. The USCIS said that they were short of money and might need to lay off people. Congress said no, and then all of a sudden they found enough money to continue services.

funny how a quick google search can debunk so many of these allegations. Feel free to give me legitimate sources to back your claim, would love to see it.

You didn’t debunk anything.

The Dominion Voting Systems, which has been used in multiple states where fraud has been alleged in the 2020 U.S. Election, was rejected three times by data communications experts from the Texas Secretary of State and Attorney General’s Office for failing to meet basic security standards.

Unlike Texas, other states certified the use of the system, including Pennsylvania, where voter fraud has been alleged on multiple counts this week.

look it up I’ll wait.

What the past few years have taught me is that people will see what they want to see. Logic and facts are irrelevant.

Exactly so why should I care about tourist visas that don’t seek permanent resident status? The only thing I’ve been talking about is permanent resident status. Any visa whether immigrant or non-immigrant intent at the time of issuing. In other words, A O S. I don’t know if you can read but I’ll help you out:

2016: 1,183,505

2017: 1,127,167

2018: 1,096,611

Now go bore someone else.
