Hello everyone.

Has anyone tried to file a claim for outside processing times? I go to the uscis page and can’t go forward as is not showing options on form Number selection. The only option showing is select one. Does anyone else have the same problem?

@Marla W you may want to try doing it from a computer or "request desktop site". There should be 3 dots on your right. Top right corner. Click on that and then click on "request desktop site". That site should have more functionalities. See if that works.

I-751 Joint Filing.

06-15-2021 - Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken.

05-26-2021 - Received NOA/extension letter. Notice date and postmarked 05-20-2021.

05-23-2021 - Received text message with Receipt #. YSC Potomac Center.

05-21-2021 - Checks cashed (processing on joint checking account)

05-07-2021 - I-751 received in Arizona.

Marriage-based AOS - Concurrent filing.

05-07-2019 - AOS Approved. Resident since date 05/07/2019.

05-06-2019 - AOS Interview

04-23-2018 - "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"

03-16-2018 - Priority Date.

That's so strange! I just tried on my phone and I see all the options. Try a different browser perhaps?

Do you both have iPhones and you have a Mac? Make sure all 3 are up to date. Apple releases software updates frequently.

If you filed in 11/2020, then you case is definitely outside processing times.

I tried on iPhone and my dell laptop, chrome and explorer browsers. But now that you told me is working on yours, I will try on other phones , to see if it has something to do with me.

Yes, I’m outside processing times, files November 20, I even filed an address change and haven’t heard from them either.

Hello,

Today I received a letter,

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review, and this has caused a delay in processing time, Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received.

we hope this information is helpful to you.

well so now I don't if is good or bad, and this information no help me.

Hey. So we still did not receive any letter about the request for outside of processing but we did call and they said the exact same that you sent above. Did you have any progress yet or what do you think next steps should be?

Hello,

NOTHING YET :(, everything is exactly the same. Yesterday I started to read the N-400 form for citizenship and investigate the necessary documents for the application. I made a consultation with a lawyer friend of my husband and she recommended that we apply as soon as my window of time opens which would be 10/30/2. I still have 3 months left, but I have faith that it will be approved before that time,

If not, then I will continue with my citizenship process and I wait to have the 2 interviews at the same time.

Today I check the timeline and switch back to 4.5 to 7.5 months.

Congratulations! So happy for you. Seems YSC is not doing anything regarding 2020 November, yet to hear about anybody who has been approved.

Sorry just saw this, LIN was super slow for a lot of us and then there was sudden flurry of approvals, hoping you get good news soon.

MSC here.

Received my biometric appointment letter today! Exactly 8 months from my filed date which is Nov.30,2020. My appointment will be in 2 weeks. 😊

We just had our biometrics appointment two days ago! We filed in November and are also MSC. What do we expect next? An interview scheduled ? Or are they waving those because of COVID? Hope everyone is hanging in there. I’ll update the sheet when I get to a computer.

They are still doing interviews. Were you K1 or IR-1 or CR-1? K1 typically get waived, and they also seem to reuse the biometrics since both were done when we did Adjustment of Status after the wedding. Since IR-1 and CR-1 have yet to interview in the US, you should expect to do so now.

LIN filer here, we just got notice that my wife's card was being produced! YAY! As is common, it skipped the Approval step. I fully expect the status to jump around like it did last time as everything makes its way through the system.

For those wondering, 11/16 mailed in, 11/20 receipt date, early JAN 2021 checks cashed, May 28th Biometrics waiver.

Has anybody had their American spouse write to their Congressman or Senator to see if they can help expedite things? Do you think it's worth trying or could it backfire?
