We still did not receive anything yet. Hopefully the fact that they sent you a letter will make the processing faster of the case... I will let you know when I receive mine.

Does anyone know what the next step after this is, do they send a notification that we mailed your card or do they mail it. Also for those who have got their cards , how long did it take for you to get it after the status changed to approved

They will notify you when the card is mailed out and will provide you a tracking number upon UPS approval & receipt of the envelope. If you have informed delivery, the tracking number will also show up on it. Overall, depends on your location,  it takes btw 2-5 days to receive the card after shipping

When USCIS Misspells Your Name:

 

Typographical error form filled on USCIS website 1/4/2021
Contacted USCIS if there has been any progress since THEIR error (Received a Tier 1 tracking number) 2/6/2021
Contacted USCIS again as the issue remains to be resolved (Received ANOTHER Tier 1 tracking number) 3/12/2021
Apparently USCIS chat is worthless; CALLED USCIS, Tier 1 agent promised that a Tier 2 agent would call me 4/28/2021
Received a call from a nice Tier 2 officer who said I may or may not get a correct extension letter, but just in case I would be scheduled an InfoPASS appointment 5/4/2021
Went to local USCIS service center and had to deal with a nasty and entitled customer service agent who refused to give me an I-551 stamp. National Benefits Center is supposed to mail me another I-797 within 7-10 days... So I had to waste my day, taking buses for two hours one-way just to deal with this lady's attitude? 5/7/2021

After anxiously monitoring our mailbox for a few days I DID receive a corrected I-797, w00t! All documents good to go ✅ Vaccinated ✅ Ready to visit my parents in Europe for the first time in 17 months!! ✅ 5/13/2021

The lesson: Don't use the chat for anything complicated, AND keep hassling USCIS for a response...

Sounds good that u have received notice. How long did it take to get the notice after the resecudling call from USCIS?

I hope the misspelling can be corrected at biometric appointment as well.

They will not approve your n400 application until the i751 application has been approved. That being said, the n400 tends to take notably longer than the I751 so it isn't a problem. This is why you can apply for n400 while the i751 is still pending.

01/10/2017 - After travelling via the slowest route possible (likely via carrier pigeon) BKK Consulate receives packet

01/16/2017 - Packet 3 Instructions received 02/28/2017 - Packet 3 Instructions Completed

03/05/2017 - Packet 4 received (now the fun begins) --> 03/29/2017 - Interview disappears from the schedule on the embassy website -->03/30/2017 - She goes to her interview, is told they need to verify her documents since she is Vietnamese interviewing in Thailand, receives a 221G with 'Verification of Viet documents' as the reason. Gave back her passport.-->03/31/2017-04/04/2017 - Case is being continuously touched. We suspect that our case was approved at this point but they didn't have her passport. --> 04/10/2017 (10 days after interview) - Email emabssy to inquire about updates and if there was anything we could do to move things forward. (3h later) - She is told that she is approved and to expect her passport soon (how when they don't have it in their posession?) After clarification, instructed to send our passport to them. Ship out passport in a rush to beat Songkran (which failed) --> 04/11/2017 - Passport at embassy according to Thai Post Office --> 04/17/2017 - Emailed to confirm they received the passport. They issued an evasive answer about Songkran backlog (they love evasive non-committal answers)--> 04/24/2017  Evening - Case changes from Immigrant Visa to Non-Immigrant Visa and a new case created date is given --? 04/25/2017 morning  (less than 12h later) - Case flies through Ready -->Admin Processing --> Issued

04/26/2017 - Checks mail, passport is there. No mention of it being mailed out. 

05/02/2017 - Arrives in the USA, without Issue

06/17/2017 - Marriage!

I just received my card in the mail. Was approved on the 14th so it’s super quick. 8 days from approval to card.

I received the call on July 6, the notice letter says July 10 and it arrived by mail like July 19, I think.
