No, Tier 1 agent didn’t mention anything like that. I’ve understood from other threads on VJ (not sure if it is correct) that if you have to reschedule an actual ROC interview, you would want to request this in writing and send the letter to your service center. The appointment letter simply said that if there are reasons requiring rescheduling of the fingerprinting, you should request it by calling the USCIS Contact Center.

If they don’t contact me by the end of the week/Monday, I will have to call another Tier 1 at the contact center and ask for a supervisor. Hate to be a male Karen like that, but this really irks me.

LOL, @Locito. Now that you mentioned it, I suppose the internet has not decided yet what to call "male Karens". There's Greg, Roy, Ken, Ian. Apparently. it's all still undecided. :)

@Marla W, you may file the AR-11 online. You do not need to mail it. If your US citizen spouse sponsored your I-864 and they are moving, they will need to file the I-865 Sponsor's notice of change of address by mail.

Thank you, we are all moving and my husbands is my sponsor. So just to double check, his form as a spouse sponsor needs to be by mail and mine online?

thank you so much!

Correct. The AR-11 is available online. You do not need to print it and mail it. You could choose to file it by mail, but you do not need to do both.

The I-865 is not available online. You have to print it and mail it.

Guys, this is off the topic (kind of) and I’m going to post it in other forums here on visa journey. But pls if anyone knows something will be very appreciated.
We are in Texas, my husband is the American citizen and I’m applying with my 14 years old son, each of us, got separate receipt numbers after filing I751. We are changing our address and I tried online forms AR 11. I had no problem changing my address online but when I tried changing my son’s is telling me the receipt number is wrong. I checked the number several times, my husband too, we did it in 3 different computers and on our phones and every time got the same error. Now, the receipt number is not wrong and with that I can access his status online. I’m not doing the process wrong, I was able to change the address on mine. I called USCIS mentioned technical difficulties, talked to a human, explained everything gave her all

my son’s information and the error and she told me there is nothing she can do to help because her system does not have instructions on the error I’m having. I called another time to speak to a different person and told me the same. Is insane that I still need to change his address and they are telling me there is no solution, there is no one else I can talk to and they told me there is nothing they can do.I’m baffled.

Have anyone encounter something like this? Should I mail the form? I’m very concerned that we can lose paperwork. Thank you and sorry for the long post.

I am wondering if the system has his case as a subdivision of yours. And that would make sense - sort of. I believe agents are able to do a change of address with you over the phone. Did you try?

I would make sure that you mail the form, do a change of address with USPS for everyone and also ask the old post office to hold anything for your son. Hope you are able to resolve this. :)

How many days have passed since u informed them that u wanna resecuduleand they haven't called?

Change of ticket is so expensive. Its peak summer time and I m in Asia right now.

Just wanted to update this thread as well. Wrote the same thing in my own thread about rescheduling already:

An update for anyone in a similar predicament as me: Reached USCIS contact center after 40~ minute wait. The lady proceeded to inform me that the procedure for 14 day callback period has been extended to 20 days (!) as of last week. She claimed that there will be no repercussions for missing my ASC/biometrics appointment as I am already in a line to receive a callback, yet, I couldn't get a written confirmation that this is the case. I don't exactly trust the ever changing information given by a call center agent (had a seasonal job at a call center myself...). Ugh. Watch them change something again and making those 20 days into 28 days or something. Wish they would have informed me by e-mail that the callbacks will take longer...

Getting there, slowly but surely...  (I hope )

Together (well...mostly the Transatlanticism kind of together) Since 12/2013

CR-1:

Married in Sweden 8/2017
(Well Frontloaded) I-130 Sent 12/2017
CR-1 Approved 10/2018
POE LAX 01/11/2019

I-751:

I-751 Package Sent with UPS 11/11/2020
I-751 Received by the AZ Lockbox 11/13/2020
I-751 Check Cashed 12/31/2020
I-797 (with My Last Name Misspelled...) Received by Mail 1/2/2021

Biometrics Appointment Received by Mail...too bad I am in Europe right when it's supposed to take place 🤯 6/14/2021

Rescheduled Biometrics Appointment, the biometric technician can't change the misspelled name on file, but he enters the correct spelling of my last name as an alias 8/2/2021

Interview Ready to Be Scheduled 10/13/2021

(Two Days Later) Interview Was Scheduled 😱 10/15/2021

I-751 Interview, Petition Approved 🥳 11/19/2021

Case Status Changed to New Card Is Being Produced 11/19/2021

Case Status Changed to Case Was Approved 11/22/2021

Green Card Arrived in the Mail (Name Correctly Spelling, w00t) 11/27/2021

When USCIS Misspells Your Name:

Typographical error form filled on USCIS website 1/4/2021
Contacted USCIS if there has been any progress since THEIR error (Received a Tier 1 tracking number) 2/6/2021
Contacted USCIS again as the issue remains to be resolved (Received ANOTHER Tier 1 tracking number) 3/12/2021
Apparently USCIS chat is worthless; CALLED USCIS, Tier 1 agent promised that a Tier 2 agent would call me 4/28/2021
Received a call from a nice Tier 2 officer who said I may or may not get a correct extension letter, but just in case I would be scheduled an InfoPASS appointment 5/4/2021
Went to local USCIS service center and had to deal with a nasty and entitled customer service agent who refused to give me an I-551 stamp. National Benefits Center is supposed to mail me another I-797 within 7-10 days... So I had to waste my day, taking buses for two hours one-way just to deal with this lady's attitude? 5/7/2021

After anxiously monitoring our mailbox for a few days I DID receive a corrected I-797, w00t! All documents good to go Vaccinated Ready to visit my parents in Europe for the first time in 17 months!!  5/13/2021

The lesson: Don't use the chat for anything complicated, AND keep hassling USCIS for a response...

When I called last week, they said it has been entered in the system that I have requested for a resecudle and it won't be considered as a no show. God knows now.

Flights are also being cancelled. I can't reach there in any case.:(
