I just checked our online USCIS account. It says our case got transfered to another USCIS office. We answered the RFIE and was expecting an answer to that. Does anyone have a clue why this haoppens and where it could go? Maybe our local USCIS office or a blck hole, where it can take years to reappear? They are also sending a notice to us with explenation i read. 

 

Will they send us to another interview (we did one for AOS)?

Will it be in another service center or local office?

How long could this take? We are applying for N-400 in November no matter where this lands.

 

So frustrating, any ideas?

You're asking too many questions that only "patience" can answer. Sadly

Moving your case tends to usually result in a positive news.

Perhaps your current center is backed up and now that your RFE is replied to, they perhaps have all the info they need to adjudicate the case so you got moved

You're already applying for N-400 so all of this is irrelevant.
If it happens that you have no 10 year card by the time the N-400 rolls around, they just combine it into a dual interview. Happens all the time

 

Immigration is not a fast or easy process. And let's not forget that COVID might still be making some centers worse than others. so try not to let it impact you too much.

Our case got transferred from SRC to NBC. Is this good or bad? Not even the local USCIS office here in Montgomery, AL got it. Should we worry our ROC will take forever and only N-400 will maybe help accelerate the process? 

 

That RFE just drag us to the slow lane. Hope everyone is doing better. Ironically the later states that it will improve the speed of answering to our RFE. Laughable.

Hi! my case is also EAC and I applied about the same time as you did.. I just received my biometrics letter yesterday (FINALLY) but it's not waived!

 

I did call USCIS to speak to Tier 2 rep and the letter came during 14 days waiting period to get a call back from a tier 2 representative.

 

Not sure why my biometrics are not waived like 99% of November filers or why my letters came later than other EAC cases. But my best guess would be maybe because I applied to my green card in Nevada, now I'm applying i-751 from NY...? No idea. Anyways, hope you also received yours by now and if not, maybe ask to talk to tier 2 rep from USCIS!

I will say no one is doing their job, lol. My case belongs to SRC and haven’t had any news. Case received on nov 20, NOA received on January 12th and nothing new til today is so frustrating 😭😭😭

Safe to assume folks at LIN have heard nothing? Mine was received Nov. 16th 2020 and have not heard about biometrics till date.

Its been weirdly quiet on WAC, nothing has moved the last I heard some activity was on 01/27 or something 

 

My application received date is 11/18 and notice date is 01/05 - WAC filer

Same, we are LIN and NOA1 is 11/30/2020. Still nothing. Looks like based on the VJ data, they are working on July/Aug 2020 for interviews

I don't think that's true. They're still working on cases.. just not ours yet. Y'all need to be a little more patient! We all knew this process isn't fast. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Enjoy your life and just wait.. I know waiting sucks but at least you're with your lived ones! It will all work out. ♥️

Yeah I gave up and waiting for 11/07, the earliest I can apply for N-400
