I think it depends on where you live. With MSC you will most likely have an interview. So your field office is responsible for your application. You check on the USCIS website which field office is your area and then you can check the processing times for that field office. But I'm not 100% sure that this is how it works.

Maria, could you please, paste links to above? (field area and processing times)

Thank you.

Are people getting notifications from the my uscis website? I have it set to email and text notification, but when I checked today, it had been updated to fingerprints taken even though I never got a notification for it.

I’m traveling overseas tomorrow and we have the same timeline. How does that status look like when they waive the biometrics? Does the status say that they have used the biometrics they have on system? Can you attach a screenshot of the status so we can see what to expect if it’s waived? Thank you.

This is what the status is. It doesn't mention that it was waived, just that fingerprints were taken.

At the bottom of this page is a field office locator. You can find the closest field office to your ZIP code. For the processing times - someone already provided you the link in a previous comment but they don't give details for i-751 for each field office. They just show a processing time for all field offices.

This is normal
Many I-751 are bypassing biometrics (i.e fingerprints)

They're using the old biometrics that you did about 2 years ago to help with backlog.
So yes, accounts will say fingerprint taken, but probably just means they're using the old one

Wait for a letter. One will come telling you it has been waived

I751 sent Nov23 by UPS

received after a week

NOA1 came Jan20

check cashed Jan20

text came Jan26 (funny -after NOA1)

I hope I filled in the Nov filers xls well

How long it will take now for biometrics?

Is photo taken at biometric or should I bring mines?

Biometrics is for fingerprints
U don't bring anything
Wait for something in the mail to tell you IF you are scheduled. Most are getting the biometrics waived.

Depending on where you live, you might get something within the month or like 20 months from now. It's all normal. don't panic

Well Well well
The plot thickens

@MariaUSA90 and anyone else in the slow-forsaken WAC center 🤣

I just got a notification on my app a few mins ago that my case has been transferred and a new office has jurisdiction. NO CLUE what this means or where in the world am being transferred to
Will keep you posted when I get the letter in the mail

I swear, if they moved me to like MSC where green cards are being handed out, then I will lose it! (in a good way) because I lowkey expected us to wait till kingdom come. ha

What apps are people using to keep track of their case? I'm thinking of downloading one since uscis itself seems to be unreliable when it comes to notifying people about updates in the case, and I'm worried I might miss something like an RFE.
