The person that created spreadsheet made it easier to follow (thank goodness!)

I.e. sorted by date filed and for those with NOA, by service center

The s/s can't really be much help if everything is all over the place. This way, everyone can see if their date has been touched/if there's movement with their service centers.

Nothing has been deleted. It's there- see row 99 for yourself :D

Actually, I added it again on the 11th, someone did delete.

Hello,

I am new to the forum. I was under a lot of stress because I was not getting my NOA for a while. I started reading the forum and I could finally take a deep breath. I knew that I JUST need to be patient. To help others with their " anxiety" , here is my timeline:

'*** I-751 by UPS

* sent-  November 23rd

* received -November 25th

* checks cashed- January 15th

* NOA- waiting...

That is quite a normal timeline this time around.... similar to everyone else on this forum.

Hi,

Any opinions or observations on the biometrics?

From the spreadsheet it appears that it is taking about a month after NOA and in most cases they are being waived?

Some folks are not even hearing anything at all

If you're in the WAC or YSC regions, expect nothing

Everyone else, expect it within a month of your NOA and yes, for most, it is waived.

We just got our NOA letter! Does anyone know how long the timeline is form the National Benefits Center, MSC? I didn't see any processing times for that center on visa journey or the uscis website

I think it depends on where you live. With MSC you will most likely have an interview. So your field office is responsible for your application. You check on the USCIS website which field office is your area and then you can check the processing times for that field office. But I'm not 100% sure that this is how it works.

Wait a minute-

First - extremely sad to hear this. Yours is certainly not the first thing we have heard got messed up

second - Did USCIS officially say they're rejecting your application for "incorrect fees?"
I.e. your entire package is being sent back and you're effectively going to be a January/February filer?

Yup... They said it was because the payment was rejected so they were sending our entire file back.

I spoke with the bank who confirmed that we had the money in the bank, that they did not decline the charge, and that the charge was never attempted.

The lady from the lock box stated that even if it is USCIS' error, we still have to refile.

I printed out her email, the payment form that I submitted, and a letter from my bank stating our account balance and that there was no charge attempted from USCIS.

I requested that they allow our late submission since now it will be after the filing date. We also have a call back from tier two that we are waiting on where I will request an expedite of the processing due to USCIS error.

We sent our package off today.

I actually thought u needed to wait for the old file to arrive first so you can use whatever paper they send to send the new one...
Someone correct me on this

but make sure u don't need something from the old file before the new one.

Also, send a check this time
I honestly will never give USCIS a credit card just because of this - limit the # of room they have to screw us over. They make mistakes all the time and we unfortunately get stuck with it, whether we like it or not.

I wish you and hubby luck
So sorry to hear this setback!

Thank you!

The email stated that we did not need to wait to refile so I put a copy of the email in the package.

I can honestly care less at this point
We plan to do 3 year rule naturalization so at this point, I expect to speak to immigration at that interview. lol

I've been thinking about this too but germany is so strict with their dual citizenship. There is lot of paperwork I have to do with the german government in order to not lose my german citizenship. 🙄

Received date 11/23/2020, NOA on hand today. The long waiting game begins. My AOS took 16 months. 😅 It looks like about the same amount of time for I-751 according to the USCIS case processing time. California Service Center takes 17-21 months, should I apply I-131 for traveling instead of holding on the NOA? Any suggestions?
