I thought so. I dunno how people get to work if they need to drive. Im going to have to figure that one out for myself. I'm so mad with the whole situation. I wish I knew about the delays before I used usps. :( I guess I have about 5 weeks before I hear anything ughhh.

I was going out of my mind wondering where it was. I'll post any updates here. Thanks for replying 🙂 .

I know it doesn't help you right now. But to me for immigration related things I always send priority express or overnight because they have a money back guarantee if it doesn't make it on time. even during covid. (at least that's what they told me)

Fingers crossed they pick up some speed now that the nov/dec holidays are over.

Still waiting on mine. They said they sent it 12/30 but I still didn’t get anything. I really hope it didn’t get lost!

It should be on its way, If you have not , i would sign up for USPS informed delivery so that you can see what all mail is your dashboard and if there is any important mail coming that day.

I've always used usps and never had any issues. I didnt think about it this time though. I wish I did use FedEx. I won't be using usps anytime soon. I'll use FedEx next time. I paid for 2-day priority with usps and it took almost a month to get there. 😩 im just glad it said "delivered" on the usps tracking because I was going out of my mind. I still am. 🥲

Yeah it's been crazy with USPS. I used USPS as well but priority mail express. I've been waiting on Christmas mail from Germany for forever now and the german postal service made my mom pay extra for premium. It's been 2 months since she sent it 🥴 I hope everything will go back to normal soon.

No. Informed delivery is through usps. You sign up, verify your address (they send you a code in the mail), and then you can check what mail gets delivered to you online. I did call uscis to get my case number so I could add it to my uscis account online.

Here's what informed delivery looks like

Just called USCIS and got our case receipt number! Will be filing it online right now as well. I asked the agent when it was mailed to my house as well and she said December 17th which was an odd response since our check was cashed only 2 days ago.

Some more information about this process. I just entered our case number into our My USCIS profile. It does in fact state they received our Form I-751 on Nov 17th. It also states that if we don't receive the receipt notice by Dec 17th in the mail contact the USCIS contact center. The agent on the phone  today also stated that since we didn't receive it yet I should request another form to be mailed. Judging from whats been happening im sure its safe to assume they were a little off with the Dec 17th date and we should be receiving the receipt ( paper form ) in the mail from USPS within the next week or so. Thoughts on this? Thanks everyone. I hope this also helps if some people come across these issues along their own timeline.
