Hi, this is my first post here. Please help, I'm so confused!!!

USPS tacking number says my I-751 app was delivered Nov 30 at the Arizona lockbox, but 35 days later my post office money order was still not cashed, no receipt number and nothing in the mail. I called USCIS and they said it's normal to take this long now due of covid, but because my GC expires this Sunday, 01/10, they put an urgent request for a follow up from an office and today someone called me and he said it's NOT normal that it's taking this long and I should send everything again and cancel the money order I sent with the first application.

I'm so confused!!! I was told by a couple different agents on the phone that it's normal to take this long and I should just wait, and now an officer said it is not normal and I should resend. I honestly prefer just waiting at this point because if I send everything again it may take even longer, any suggestions of what I should do??? Thank you!!

Package was delivered 11/16.

Money order not yet cashed.

Called USCIS and they gave me a case number starting with LIN.

Online status says case was received

I am assuming this means they've accepted the application?

Money order cashed.

Hi everyone, been on this forum for weeks trying to calm my anxiety but my patience is wearing thin 🤪 My package was delivered Nov,16 and still no check cashed or notifications. Decided to call USCIS like others so maybe they can give me a case number but this automatic system is impossible. How do you guys pass it to actually speak with person?

Your anxiety is not as high as mine then. I have the same date as you and I check this site every 2 seconds of every minute. its been mentioned numerous times already. call the number and say you are having technical difficulties. you'll be connected to an agent in under a minute. good luck. I called yesterday and still nothing. while others from our same date are having luck.

When on the call, say "Schedule appointment" wait for the prompt and then say "infopass appointment". A representative will come on the line and ask for your A#

It worked, finally spoke with an agent, mine is not in a system yet.. not accepted nor rejected yet. I really started to freak out when I saw that they processed 19th but not mine

What's the timeframe for receiving NOA? Unfortunately i cant stay on the phone or my wife for that matter for a response from USCIS.  I am not anxious any more since at least they charged the credit card

I’m always able to speak to someone, I always say: Lost receipt number.

It works every time, today my wait time was 3 minutes!

Do not send another application.

Typically it’s not normal. I751 receipt notice were sent out after 1-2 weeks USCIS receives the package. Even their website gives an official timeline of 30 days.
But recently USCIS has been delaying in sending out I751 receipts since Oct. I suspect it’s because of the overwhelming amount of I485 by EB3 applicants.

If your green card is expiring and you NEED it urgently, I recommend you talking to a local congressman. I know some other folks here don’t like that approach. But it is what it is.
However, you can stay legally even if your GC expires during this process. Your employer don’t have the right to re-verify your employment eligibility, you don’t have the obligation to re-verify either. If you are in the process of changing jobs, it is tricky. That’s the situation I am in right now.
If you post more info why you need your GC urgently, then maybe we can help you weigh in whether you are really in a hurry for the receipt notice.
