Our spreadsheet might be slightly delayed.  people might be dealing with the holidays and spending less time on VJ and not updating.

i think @Vin got a notification Over the holidays about biometrics so for sure something is happening- slower, but moving

let’s keep the spirit folks!

makes sense, i am just checking every day since i am one of those people in the 11/13 batch and its been a long wait..hopefully this week will bring some news

We are still waiting. Ours was delivered on 11/14 and we still have no news. Am calling USCIS tomorrow to see if we can get any information. What other course of action can we take? Should we contact our congressperson? My GC is due to expire on 2/4.

Personally, contacting congressperson is a waste at this point
U can't skip ahead of the line and you are within processing times (no matter how unfortunate that sounds)

I think congress people are for folks who like filed in September or something crazy long ago and everyone else is hearing and not them

Call USCIS. Maybe they have ur case in the system and can give u the case # to track it.
Good luck!

Received on November 28 and really hoping to have the check cashed within the next two weeks.

Thats a good goal but I would think right now your about 2-4 weeks out based on everyone else's. I am checking the sheet/bank religiously now. Received on 11/16 and still not cashed. Based on what I am seeing in the sheet timing we are 2-9 days away, so with holidays unless you guys get lucky you might be 3-4 weeks out. :(

The nice part about all this, is it still doesn't delay the filing for citizenship, so we fully expected to file for citizenship before the ROC happened. We are hoping for her citizenship in mid-late 2023.

I agree on your expected timeline! I just really don’t understand how no movement occurred after the 16th! It seemed like it was moving in a pattern but then everything stopped. I guess let’s hope we hear something back by end of next week - 1/8!

Hi guys, I am new to this forum.

USCIS received my package on 11/30, of course no news yet.

Regarding the recent delay in sending I751 receipt notice, one of my friend told me it’s due to the large amount of checks USCIS needs to process for I485 applications. There’s a rapid forward movement on employment based immigration cases late Sep. So if you look at the timeline before Sep, it was normal. It started slowing down in Oct 2020.

Not sure if I agree. I recently contacted the congressman in my district since I have a potential job opportunity. They asked me for job offer to request expedite. If you can prove you will suffer financial loss, they can assist to request expedited service from USCIS.

The second part of your statement is generally correct; however, traditionally, they are able to expedite situations where there is a pending case. Since the case is not yet in the system, this becomes a little more challenging.

That said, good luck with the process. Do let us know if it helps.

I want to know too. Do we need to let the HR know? Or we can keep working?

Good question; while I am not absolutely sure, I do not think your current employer will seek to re-verify your green card.

That said, please check with other sources as well.

Thanks! I haven’t received the job offer yet, even though I have a strong feeling I will get it.

Even if the case is not in the system, USCIS can still locate the package by tracking number. That’s what the congressional aide told me.

Good to know! I'd be curious (and glad) if they are able to track it down for you.
