Is the G-1145 notification for as soon as they have received the package, or once processing starts on our file? Is the NOA taking 6 weeks now?

Thanks

My wife and I recently submitted her I751 Application for removal of conditions. How do we check on the status of it? We have yet to receive the NOA1. We mailed the packet on 10/28.

ETA: I just realized, I think we forgot to put the ""Attention: I-751 petition to remove conditions of status". I hope that doesn't screw thins up :(

Hey there! Its been a couple years but I'm back! We sent our package on 11/7. It seems like it got to the lockbox, but just says its not yet been delivered.. but its at the USPS Phoenix facility. Has anyone ever had this problem? Not sure if its actually lost, or if USCIS just hasn't picked up the PO box bin yet.

Does anyone know if we have to submit 2 color passport photos, or it does not apply to us. I keep reading bunch of different things and I get so confused. Also I have noticed now everyone is filling to Phoenix.

Hello Darymak, I’m getting my package ready but for Texas. Did someone answered to this? I want to know if I need to mail the passport photos as well.

No, unfortunately no one responded. But I have been reading a lot and is seems like it is only applies to people overseas. I thought everyone is supposed to be sending only to Phoenix.

Hey you guys! Super silly question, but I’m newbie and trying to understand. I’ve seen a lot of “NOA”, “AOS” and so. And I don’t know what they stand for, is there a list of abbreviations I can look for here?

Is everyone using black ink? Or transferring the pdf format to doc and filling in the computer?  I have terrible handwriting 🙈

Ouch,! I was supposed to file last October, but we didn’t have the money at the time, let me ask in that thread and I will go back to you.

Thank you. My 90 days period started on October 3rd, I should have known better and sent it back then, now I am freaking out and trying to cut up with everything, I am planning on sending my documents tomorrow.

Same boat here! I’m applying with my minor son (he is 14) and our green cards will expire on January the 16th!! So I’m panicking! But we couldn’t file earlier due to $$. And before this, we had a lawyer that helped us (we can’t aforos it anymore). So I don’t know how to do anything and I’m trying to learn, while panicking and rushing!!!!

The really first time I worked with the lawyer, this time I decided to do it myself. It is way easier. If you have any questions let me know.

Thank you!! I do have a lot! Let me put them together!
I asked about the photos and you need to send the passport photos if you are in the US as well.

In my case, I’m applying with my son, and they told me to send passport photos of me and my son, but not my husband that he is the American. I don’t know if is just you applying, but you and if you have dependents have to send photos.
