I need urgent help! I've just received my rejected package with letter that said besides the incorrect fee the following field were not completed: A-Number. I don't have any A-Number, as least I think so. Is it because I typed "NONE" in the box? Should I make it blank? Also do I need to include I-797C letter or only the green page that says "Place this letter on top your new filling package? I really want to send it today but I want to make it absolutely right.

A” number is short for Alien Registration Number, The 9-digit USCIS number listed on permanent resident green cards.

You  have A-Number (Alien Registration Number). Use the one you were given when you processed your 2 years GC. You MUST include I-797C letter or only the green page that says "Place this letter on top your new filling package. My package was returned back to me cos I filed 5 days before my 90 days window started. I resent it back and now they have charged my credit card account...waiting for NOC.

Good luck.

I should have known that :( Thanks a lot! Another question should I leave the rest of Children's A-Number fields blank or type "None"? I don't have any

I left everything blank, but a lot of people saying you have to put N/A, so I am not sure about that :(

I typed N/A in most of the fields and "None" in fields like A-Number and USCIS Account Number in my original application, they seems to me ok with that because they didn't mention anything about it in rejection letter. I hope they only refer to the first A-Number field where I should have typed my USCIS#.

Please use N/A throughout in all blank spaces.

Wow that was pretty close to the expiration. My GC will expire on January 23rd, 2021. I'm afraid I will be in the same situation because they take up to 6 weeks now. Did you tape the green letter to the package or just included inside fedex package together with your document package?

The green letter was placed on top of all my documents before putting everything in the postal envelope.

I heard receipt number that starts with MSC needs interview. so lets see what happens next?

Here's what all the codes mean:

MSC, NBC – National Benefits Center; (Lee's Sumit, MO)
EAC,VSC – Vermont Service Center
WAC, CSC – California Service Center
LIN, NSC – Nebraska Service Center;
SRC – Texas Service Center
YSC – Potomac Service Center. (Arlington, VA)

@nickymicky I've heard all sorts of things on this interview front

I actually heard that a ton of NBC folks are getting by with no interviews and it happens relatively fast.

Please keep us updated!
