Has anyone heard of any problems receiving their I-797 Receipt Notice of Action? Our application was received September 28 and the Money Order never cashed. 6 weeks. I can’t get past Emma. Don’t know what to do.

Post in prior groups. They might know
I've gotten the sense that in general, they are moving SLOWWWWWWWWWW as snail with these notices
I've seen it take up to 2 weeks to get a simple notification (if u signed up for one) that package was received.

Not sure if 6 weeks is in ball park for payments

We send the ROC package to Phoenix, AZ, but which center is going to process our application. Is that randomly or state specific? Thanks

It is mostly based on where you live. But also from what we have seen in September, a lot of K1 visa holder's cases are being transferred to MSC regardless of their state of residence (most likely means they gonna get an interview)

Our original was a K-1, but we did AOS and had an interview. Does this mean if we get assigned MSC we will get a second interview (or interview for ROC)?

Hmmm it is most likely that you will be assigned to MSC (At least from the data we have). However, I cannot say for sure if you would have an interview or not.

Only that USCIS had hold a conference online in which it says that most applications that need interview are forwarded to MSC for process.

i am just wondering because i have not heard of cases with 2 interviews. Most either have a AOS interview or ROC interview, right? A friend couple of ours got their interview cancelled at last minute and we assume they might just skip them for now and have a ROC interview later on. At least that is what i have read in VJ and other similar pages

That is also what I have heard. But I am not really sure in this case neither. You would get a better chance asking if you go to a thread for last year probably. We are still at the beginning of this potential tedious journey haha

Filed on the 9th, package arrived today according to USPS although I haven't gotten a confirmation text from USCIS yet (I don't know how often they empty the PO box so who knows how long that will take) I just hope the extension letter arrives within one month so I can go brave the DMV.
