We are filing for AOS and i need help on this part

i am the US citizen and my wife and i are currently living with my parents (mom and dad). My dad is the co sponsor on the i-864. my dad works, but my mom is a housewife. my dad files his taxes as jointly

that being said, part 2 for family status, do I list both of my parents? or just my dad?

thanks

You live same house doesn’t necessarily mean your parents belong to your household. Your household is 2 (you and wife). His part 2 of i-864 will be 2 (your parents) + 1 (your wife)

i must list my dad since he is contributing 100% of his income on the i-864 and i am unemployed. see instructions below

but im not sure if i should list my mom or not, since my dad files his taxes jointly.

So you are his dependent? Or you file tax yourself?

i filed my own taxes separately

Then you are not his household, and he is not your household.

can anyone else confirm this?

I can confirm. I live with my wife's parents temporately and we did not list them in the household because after reading the instructions it seems pretty clear that they are not part of it.
