Some in the media said that war was for oil. I have on display at home rock and sand from under that pipeline. Some in the media said that war was for Iraqi oil. I served for my Kuwati brother, who served because he had a sister raped by Iraqi soldiers. I served on behalf of them. Later on I served for my Iraqi brothers and sisters, the good people.  It's complicated. It keeps changing in war.There is good everywhere. Your "enemy" can be your friend. Civilians will never understand

I had a good veteran's day here just spent it with the wife and kids that was all. But I did get alittle bit of shock because the base FB page decided to publish my Purple Hear ceremony to the world, which stunned me. I was already stunned and emotional during the ceremony because it was just overwhelming for me but to have it actually published on the base FB page was something else. 

Now on to the VA tomorrow to have it added to my record.
