As much as I'd like to agree with you, being a jerk is not a dis-allowable behavior for a President, Constitutionally. We have as a nation, elected horrible individuals to the Presidency before, and every elected office before. It is up to the voter to decide what morals they believe should be required for a President and beneath the office. For me, a qualified individual has many aspects - and being of strong morals, sound of mind and judgment,

unafraid of criticism and candid advice, and experienced in leadership is some of them. These aspects that are strongly lacking in the current POTUS. "Jerks" as you put it, are human beings. They are not sub-human or non-human, they each have complex issues that make them display such behavior. Being a ''nice'' person does not make one inherently qualified for the Presidency either.

And if you look at the Republican gains in the House of Representatives and the remaining 4 races Republicans are expected to win as well, it's clear that voters rejected the left's agenda, Calls to pack the Supreme court, Failing to call out the anarchists who burned down and ripped apart major cities across America, A left wing media that claimed these were "peaceful protesters"  and calls from Democrat mayors and Congressmen to de-fund the police,  Clearly out of touch with the American mainstream. 

 

 

Republicans I have spoken to that voted for Biden did not reject Trump merely because they don't like him. It is something more than that. R's are very lucky that they still were willing to vote for those representatives currently, and they would do well to listen to what they want them to steer away from. Looking at my own red county, and further assessment of other heavily red counties, Biden actually managed to flip three in my state - one of which hasn't voted blue since the 70s. These are "god-fearing' gun toting folk, that don't give a general flip about being a 'jerk', but are completely turned off  by Trump as a complete whole (administration appointees and all). They may have once cared for some policies, but not how they were implemented or they have given them a re-think. They want stability and sensibility and a person with experience. They do not like what this country is becoming and do not believe that Trump is a 'cure' for that.

  Well yeah, they do have a finite lifespan, just like most energy sources. You can recycle them though. Many countries require it, but we don't. They don't have to end up in landfills. I mean just because we have the freedom to choose, doesn't mean we always have to choose to be selfish jackasses.

   Next year. Trump get's to pardon at least one more turkey. Maybe two, if he gives himself a pardon.
