What my question is, is why when allegations are in front of a judge about fraud they are dismissed again and again? I mean, anyone can make a statement, anyone can say something under oath. It can be true, or not true. So you look to the stuff surrounding the allegations -- is there anything to back these statements up, or is this just one person saying "I saw this"? If a judge had to take everything as true that a person was saying under oath, well, you'd have a lot more criminals walking around free! :P

And I am not a lawyer either, but my dad is and for a while I thought maybe I might want to go into the family business, so I paid attention and listened to him when he explained legal concepts to me. Sunlight as they say is the best disinfectant. We all win by dragging things out into the open.

i wish i was able to give you the same amount of likes that Biden will win the election by.

This is the thing that is most disturbing, since some of the media has called it, apparently they believe it is time to give it up.  One of the big media organizations, Real Clear Politics actually has not called AZ and PA for Biden yet, so they have not called it in totality yet.  Which media are the ones that are duly constituted to call the elections?  There is a most likely scenario, but there is still canvassing that needs to occur in most states, and there is hope that if there are obvious clerical issues, this process will find them.

Trump currently needs 130% of the remaining vote to catch up in PA, so there is not really an issue with the media predicting him winning there. Most outlets haven't called AZ yet, and for some reason the one that did (FOX) is pro Trump anyway.

At any rate, we all know the media doesn't actually call the winner. There are no more votes coming in so who the media predicts will win doesn't actually change anything. It's not any different from every other election I've ever followed.

needs to be a caveat, a lot of these suits seem to be an attempt to delay certification of the votes, i have looked through each one of them that i could find, they are riddled with lack of evidence, hearsay (one where it was hearsay of hearsay!), and they are being dismissed, i would want them to be reviewed by the court a lot faster to either get the injunctive relief requested or to summarily dismiss the ones without merit or evidence. the much touted case regarding the ballots received after election day in PA where Alito said to separate them will be unlikely to get an en banc review because there are not enough ballots to change the outcome.

the newest one in Wayne country is a lot of hearsay and rehashed from the Stoddard et al case from the 6th

****disclaimer**** obviously i am not a lawyer, but this is just what i have been able to glean from the law blogs i follow and a reading of the statutes that govern these sorts of rules of civil procedures from both the state level and federal level and from reading the complaints and judgements from the courts themselves

law is pretty fascinating in case anyone wants to go down that rabbit hole. i highly recommend it. gives you something to do while we wait for this ordeal to end

There were still court challenges in 2000 too, and the answer given by SCOTUS was "time's up". These will all be resolved one way or another by December 8th.

I don't mind Ivanka calling Alaska for her dad, but his margin of lead there is about the same as the margin he is trailing by in Arizona. It doesn't really matter though. She can call California for him too if she really wants to.

Trump needs ~70% of the remaining vote to comeback, so it doesn't look good. They've released about 10000 counted ballot results today and it has been split 50:50.

The repartee, reasoning, and camaraderie in this thread have risen to high levels in this thread since the, uh, recent administrative events herein.

I'm giving upvotes to posts that are well-stated and respectful even if I disagree with the points being made.  Perhaps many or most of us here concur that there has been great improvement, and that we can "disagree without being disagreeable."  Thank you to everyone, and let's keep it up.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Actually, we do have quite a few ideas, we know that the US will rejoin the Paris agreement and it will also stay in the WHO.

The Paris Climate agreement, a treaty that is NOT legally binding, it has NO enforcement mechanism in the agreement, meaning that countries who signed on to it can simply delay it, and the last I checked we share the same atmosphere with the rest of the world..  Re-joining the PCA would be purely symbolic, a move that will cost over 400,000 American jobs.

400,000 jobs lost here, 19 million more lost on fracking, 59 million job effected by Biden's support of the PRO... It's only jobs right? these are not human beings with families to feed or  a mortgage to pay,  their just a number in the eyes of green nut jobs and greedy unions who control Biden and the Democratic party.

Gridlock is the best thing for Washington.  Now if there was compromise on both sides it might be different, but the Dems/Left never compromise on anything.

They only compromise if its in their own interest, certainly NOT the interest of the American People, only in the interest of the Democratic Party, Labor Unions, Lobbyists and bailing out poorly run Democratic states.

Here we are in the worst Pandememic of our lifetime, and Pelosi and the Democrats are playing with peoples lives for political gain, it's disgusting, And they call it the "Peoples House"   It's not wonder they lost so many seats in the House.

I agree, it would definitely be a stretch and my understanding of the recount requirements in AZ is that even with the margin that is there now, it would not trigger anything automatic.
