press conferences are not important. evidence is. they have not produced anything that would be considered credible by any sane judge. the ones that might seem credible have a huge hurdle to overcome... that being would it affect the outcome. and in those cases, the answer is a resounding no.

its telling that their whole strategy right now is to make a bunch of unfounded claims and try to stir the pot. (aka known as throwing everything against the wall to see what sticks). this isnt a legal strategy as much as it is an exercise in throwing money at lawyers while they will go on to hold rallys and solicit more money from rubes to pay campaign "debt".

its especially funny when they do it in states with republican governors, republican legislatures, or both with a side of a republican secretary of state.

Oh, I don't disagree about his lack of qualifications. But of all the people in Trump's cabinet who stuck around, he always seemed the least toxic. I don't delight in anyone's illness or death. (Okay maybe I did laugh a bit when Stephen Miller got COVID, but I felt bad about it afterwards.)

I don't wish this disease on anyone as I've said before. But I cannot feel sorry for anyone that repeatedly and knowingly did something that put themselves at risk. I feel only sorry for the lives that he may potentially harm as a result. These outbreaks have happened because of irresponsible behavior, and it's why the trends are rocketing upwards.

To be fair, I'd prefer if he wore one, even during a speech, but I understand the 'optics'. My husband has often remarked with frustration in having to 'mic up' bigwigs, that they can easily leave the mask on and it'll pick up their voices just fine... but like anything they don't usually listen to instructions.
