Man this is a very odd thing to say, i thought you all would want everyone to work together? No?

So you think when GOP controls Congress and not allowing anything to be passed to shove it to the President/Dems, that is the way the country should go forward? McConnell had done that to Obama , and did you cheer for that?

And then the hypocrisy when Amy was rushed to be sworn in, probably thinking of this situation where they wanna push cases to go to Supreme Court so that the odds would be for them for any cases..

I fixed this for you.

Or does that not apply to you?

Gridlock is the best thing for Washington.  Now if there was compromise on both sides it might be different, but the Dems/Left never compromise on anything.

Ah yes, the gridlock that cause tons of livelihood jeopardized back in 2019.

Clearly the best thing i supposed for all those furloughed federal employees, due to one child man insisting to spend money on stupid wall that he promised Mexico will pay (it is just that he has to get it from Congress and caused the shutdown.... , dumb right?)

Perhaps you should interview those furloughed employees now and maybe get a clearer idea of how it made their lives harder.

Well we have the last 4 years as an example of how this works.

urm the stuff that McConnell did with Garland and even in the bragging in the screenshot did not happen in the last 4 years.

Yep, I believe all those folks are now back to work unless you are talking about something else.  But like I said, where was the compromise from Queen Nancy to keep this from happening?

Never said it did.

The Dems made up for that with what they did to Kavanaugh.  I don't remember the GOP accusing Garland of being a rapist, etc., they just did not act on a nomination which is clearly constitutional.

Who else has been having a wonderful last few days? Trump losing made my day, my weekend and my year. Also, I don't typically watch the dumpster fire that is the orange man Twitter but it's been wonderful watching his meltdown. Yes, it's also scary what this means for democracy but we finally have something positive in 2020!

Feeling great Trump has been relatively quiet. I'm  dying to see him on TV and look at his face, wonder if he'll be snug looking. The worst thing for Trump is being a loser, and on top of that a one term president. Ouch that's got to sting!!!!!

After the last 4 years of abusing power against an incoming President and his entire first term, day after day of slow drip fake news perpetrated between executive branch bureaus and the media, lawsuit after lawsuit for everything Trump did, abusing power again in the House to endlessly investigate Trump for anything under the sun, then impeaching him for nothing, absolutely shredding a SCOTUS nominee with invented rape accusations, then threatening when you get power you're going to destroy the court, put in new states for Congressional+election leverage, work with tech companies to censor a President and everyone you politically oppose.. anyone sitting there saying they want unity after that (with many of these things still being done right now), can only be seen saying that with a troll face meme. The concept of unity after that is toast. Too bad such a large segment of the population couldn't come to terms with their loss. Whether Trump has one or two terms here it doesn't matter, the damage is done.

Even if Mitch McConnell is seen laughing or whatever about obstructing Obama seating judges, so what? Is that the first time? No, that standard was set under the Bush administration when Democrats filibustered every Bush judge nominee (and preventing several SCOTUS picks) for years and the Republicans nearly went authoritarian and removed the filibuster themselves but thankfully didn't. The very next President they simply did what Dems did to them and Dems killed the filibuster (for the federal courts only stopping short of SCOTUS, along with executive cabinet nominees), leading to McConnell to warn them they'd regret it and delivered on that retaliatory promise killing the SCOTUS filibuster along with filling countless open seats in the lower courts.

I've noticed a distinct pattern of Democrats and the growingly extreme left creating a new standard of divisiveness and then upon realizing there's two sides to every coin throwing tantrums and upping the ante even more. Try and seize power and attack people's freedom as you like, you may find inroads in the short term but as McConnell's warning was a lesson.. people eventually tire of it and fight back. Do not be surprised when they've eventually had enough.. this also goes for the support of violent mobs and other stuff. There's no sense in crying when you've pushed people too far and they finally retaliate, and don't bother calling for unity when you've already burned the bridges of it and couldn't cope with your own losses. People reap the division they sow.
