You really think it's the message and not candidate? I couldn't disagree more.. I will agree with you that voter turnout among Republicans has been low since Bush Sr lost his second term run to Bill Clinton,  the reason has more to do with the Republican nominees themselves, if you look back to Bush Sr, Bush Jr, Romney and Mcain, they had one thing in common, ALL were Moderates, you may as well put a "D" to their names.. Republicans disliked ALL of them and they've been looking for a true conservative since Ronald Reagan, and we finally got one with Trump, If only he kept a lower profile like Reagan, controlled himself and stayed off of twitter, he would have easily overcome the mail-in voter fraud in this election.

Conservative messaging has not changed very much,  Conservatives oppose the killing of over 800,000 babies each year,  Reducing the size of Government,  Less regulation, Less Government intrusion in our lives,  School Choice for parents, Opposes the legalization of drugs, Pro-Military,  Legal Immigration, Supporting the Second Amendment,  Supporting Small Business, Fair Trade and growing and creating public sector jobs..  Democrats in Washington OPPOSE MOST of these positions while many Democrat voters support not all but many of them,  On policy, Democrats LOSE,  their policies are so far out of the mainstream that Biden was forced to keep his mouth shut, only talking about Covid and Climate Change,  Democrats losing over 10 seats (and growing) in the House of Representatives and failing to pick up one new seat, proves it..

And wait for 2022,  after Biden and the Democrats take their wrecking ball to the economy.

You didn't get a conservative with Donald Trump, you got a con artist.

Even if the Georgia election is invalidated though, it's still not enough to turn Biden's win around.

math is never their strong suit. well as long as the gullible  keeps donating, then these fraudsters would feel they are doing something worthwhile for their dear leader.

Call him whatever you want, he delivered 3 strong conservative Supreme Court Justices who will be on the court for the next 30+ years... If that's what a con artist does, I'm all for con artists :)

“We’re going to win so much that you’re going to be sick and tired. You’re going to say, ‘Please, please, Mr. President, we’re sick and tired of winning. Please let us have at least one loss. It’s no longer exciting to win.’ And I’m going to say, ‘No way, we’re going to keep winning, and I don’t care if you like it or not.’”

Didn't expect he was talking about Joe Biden!

Conservative messaging has been lost in the noise of Trumpism. Reducing the size of government? It’s larger than it’s ever been. Fiscal responsibility? Even before covid it had grown massively through tax cuts for the rich. Legal immigration? That message has been lost in blatant racism and Islamophobia, and there were what? A hundred miles of this wall that Mexico was supposed to pay for. Supporting the troops? Not when we have a President who mocks them and calls them suckers and losers, and forces a Naval vessel, the USS John McCain, to cover its namesake during his visit to Japan. Second amendment? The President said take the guns and due process later. Complete crickets from Republicans and the NRA. Small business? Jeff Bezos is on track to be the world’s first trillionaire and small businesses are closing left and right because of Trump’s “covid is a hoax” messaging. Get the fantasy out of here, there are no conservatives in the White House, and less than a handful of conservatives in congress. The Republican party has become a party of sycophants and enablers to a man who rejoices in dividing and weakening us.

Do Democrats lose on policy? Perhaps, although they certainly won this election on no small part to policy, namely tackling a disease this president refuses to even acknowledge in any meaningful way. Unfortunately we haven’t had real policy discussions in four years. We’ve had a fascist wannabe who cares nothing about governing and everything about his own super-inflated ego. Call me when you have a Republican candidate who actually cares more about conservative values than he does about military parades and stroking his own ego with rallies and loyalty oaths. I would love for nothing more than to see a true conservative running on conservative policies against the Democrats. So if you call yourself a conservative, then stop supporting this grifter and his grifter family, stop tolerating this ridiculous false narrative that the election was rigged, and get on with the business of supporting true conservatives so we can get back to some semblance of normalcy.

Now you can put a D next to their names. However, those people listed are (and were) neocons. It just took a long while for Republican voters to get sick of them. They just need to realize that despite the populist scrubbing they gave that party, there's still plenty of neocon frauds pretending to be on board with this populist movement, when they really despise it. When I see Republicans talk about supporting people like Nikki Haley, it tells me there's still a lot of curve left to that learning.

If Democrats are such losers, why do they keep winning the popular vote?

Also, those aren't 800,000 babies. I've had a termination and more than one miscarriage. I know the difference.

Several reasons, Many voters don't vote on policy issues that are important to the country,  they vote on how they feel about the candidates, it's Emotion VS Logic.. And many vote based on the old belief that Democrats are the party for the working class,  which is laughable.. And you have the public sector which accounts for over 15% of the American workforce,  a huge voting block for Democrats,  they turn out in big numbers on election day,  gotta shore up those unsustainable pension funds and Biden's the guy to do it.

Exactly, and let's not forget that Lindsey Graham was one of them, him and John Mcain..  These two wanted to go to war with Russia over the Annexation of Crimea,  remember that?  the fact that Russia has over 6800 warheads and a delivery system to reach the US, was of little concern to these clowns.   GW, Romney and McCain, I remember how painful it was voting for these idiots,  but they were the less of two evils.

Trumpers are the ones that vote based on emotion and against their own interests. They just like to hear someone hate on the people they hate (illegal immigrants, Mexican "rapists", the libs) and they're ready to swear their undying devotions to this person, even if he's a well known fraudster that is only rich thanks to daddy and doesn't pay his workers. But as long as he hates the same people they hate, it's all good.

No one believes that Trump's tweets reflect rational adult behavior.

That's how the last 4 years have been. Emotionally latch onto every article, every person, every movement that appears even remotely as "orange man bad", hope the barrage of negativity slung at people psychologically wears down the weak ones (generally in a "moderate" or "independent" category) naively giving this bad faith approach even a second of undeserved consideration.
