its a procedural thing, just while the judge tries to decipher what was in the complaint. its pretty bad.

What I heard is that they were getting ready to wipe all the machines of all the data. Which is absurd to me tbh with you

I haven't heard this (not saying you're wrong, just haven't heard it) but they do have physical copies if they need to recreate the data.

I heard it in a couple of places. I would sure hope they would have physical copies of everything but coming from a InfoSec background the physical machine would still be better than just the metadata.

Oh I didn't mean metadata, I meant the actual ballots. States are required to keep them for 22 months.

Some states all all electronic and just keep the physical metadata. That is what NC had in 2018 and switched to the paper ballots for 2020.

Yeah, we keep them for 25 months here. The Republicans here in one county are asking for an audit of the dominion counts in the 2020 and 2018 elections. They were told they can do that if they want, but they need to come up with the money for it. I'm sure most states have similar.

I was hoping they could work something out to get the Thunderbirds name. Blue and green would have been good too, because then even people who didn't know who they were would at least know they are from Seattle.

It's not fair for me to answer the trivia question since I memorized the official NHL history book when I was a kid. I was just thinking recently of the 1919 series in Seattle during the Flu pandemic that the Canadiens were going to forfeit due to illness and the death of Joe Hall, but Seattle wouldn't accept the cup due to forfeit and they just cancelled the series. The 'S' logo on the current jersey is a tribute to the Metropolitans. I'm sure you knew that already, but pretty cool that they did that.

I sussed out that you knew your stuff, I spring that question on my Canadian friends with fun effect.

I didn't know about the S.

I cannot profess to being a faithful nhl fan, I got to know a pro scout attached to the local Silvertips and started following some of the minor league prospects, but I lost track. I am going to need to get up to speed.

We probably need to get away from focusing on people who take rational information to arrive at an irrational conclusion. It's still irrational. The bottom line is no one cares how many counties someone wins. We already have congressional districts to account for population. Biden won that race.

I honestly just see these and thought you guys might get a kick out of them. But I do think that Trump should receive the Nobel Peace Prize

I don't think Trump should get one, and since it's mostly a popularity contest, I don't see it happening even if he ends every conflict on earth and invents a cure for cancer in the next month. I would like to see Obama give his back though.

Why? He has done more for peace in the middle east in the last year than any president in 25 years.  If he had won then KSA would have announced that they were normalizing ties with Israel.
