It's all good. The krakens have been holding off to form one giant Voltron kraken. It's *accordian hands* gonna be so big, they say nobody's ever seen a kraken Voltron this big, bigger than Biden's kraken.

  Seattle's new NHL expansion team. They took years and much deliberation to arrive at that name. I wonder if they have some regrets about it now.

i think it should be though and we see less of these stupid "opinion" shows which are basically trash. this goes from maddow (who i utterly despise and refuse to even watch clips of) to hannity (who is the first picture of when i hear the word garbage), none of them are doing anything useful or productive in enhancing conversation

Yeah, I don't watch any opinion shows.  I see a few clips of Tucker C., but beyond that, I agree, they are all trash, but they are not going away anytime soon.  We can add to that the Sunday shows and 60 minutes which have all gone downhill.

   I do too, but it was better when the Kraken made us think of mythical legends of the deep instead of misfit lawyers who have gone of the deep end.

Back to hockey. I was dissapointed that Seattle Sous-Chefs and Seattle Goeducks didn't get more consideration. Seattle Sushi would have been good.

 

After extensive debate about the color scheme NOT being Blue and Green and mixing it up with Magenta or florescent orange to show the world that Seattle has color and imagination, the settled on shades of blue and aquamarine, sigh. We will never escape our phlegmatic nordic heritage.

 

The Practice rink will be 20 minutes from my house, I may take on a new hobby popping in from time to time.

   I was hoping they could work something out to get the Thunderbirds name. Blue and green would have been good too, because then even people who didn't know who they were would at least know they are from Seattle.

 

  It's not fair for me to answer the trivia question since I memorized the official NHL history book when I was a kid. I was just thinking recently of the 1919 series in Seattle during the Flu pandemic that the Canadiens were going to forfeit due to illness and the death of Joe Hall, but Seattle wouldn't accept the cup due to forfeit and they just cancelled the series. The 'S' logo on the current jersey is a tribute to the Metropolitans. I'm sure you knew that already, but pretty cool that they did that.
