I just did. Thank you, i was confused myself, seems we are on the same page, but i guess I am mildly traumatized from the previous incident, which effectively barred me from communicating  with people i was interested in having conversations. This too was a clear Trump effect. I hope this sub will be more open to people coming in and having conversations with old timers. Wouldn’t it be much better than having the same people dominating and suppressing the whole dialogue?

Yes yes yes!!! I am really looking forward to more voices, varied voices, in addition to the ones that are already here (and that includes me). I am to the left of many people here but I am also to the right of others. I want to hear ALL sorts of hot takes and good faith argument. And a lot of teasing and good fun too.

Actually I am supposed to be working on my novel, NaNoWriMo this month. And I have written every day so far (I generally try to write every day anyway, and have kept that up every day since May of last year) so I should focus on that, not here. But here is more fun at the moment.

Wow, way not cool to attack someone for what you think is their ignorance and stupidity because they disagree with you. Name calling isn't the right thing, especially here. You seem to take a lot of this very personally, when it's only politics. I think Trump and his politics were appalling and I am glad he is going to be gone. I can see you supported him, but I don't think that makes you ignorant or stupid. There are many people in this subforum whose politics I disagree with, but I don't mudsling against them as people.

It is not ignorant or stupid to point out that this magical Monday case has already been ruled on

 

Either way, we have removed the Commander in Tweet so hopefully she will soon be defending something other than back rubs to Saudi princes and love letters to Kim Jong

 

Declaring war on us back in Texas isn’t gonna work out at all.
