Hopefully with Biden in the office the immigration policy regarding countries like Pakistan would improve and less people have to go through strict administrative processing.

OK,  time for some hope here

many of us do know what this is like / we waited 6 years (1st tried K1) and were married 5 years when he finally got the visa

asking for the passport to be submitted is a very positive omen

now that my Adil  came the time goes fast and he is a citizen and just voted as one

that you haven't given up,  shows you can make it

15 months after original interview they called my husband for a second interview in July and we submitted everything in August. The embassy called him this past Thursday to verify his phone number and also asked if there were any other original documents at the embassy they then told him they are handing over his documents to the consular officer. Our case status showed “refused” and then Thursday when he got the call it changed to administrative processing

Usually when status says refused it sometimes is in Administrative Processing and when it says its in AP that can mean its in process of being printed my wife had interview back in March and the officer said everything looks good and right after that status said its in AP and 3 days later it changed to Issued I feel like your visa might be just in process of printing hopefully you'll get good news this coming week inshallah

Unlikely as the policy was not put in place by the current administration and is a long standing issue with how police records are tracked and certificates issued in Pakistan

True we need to focus on those police reforms more than ever. This problem has to be solved.

Hi there! My fiancé and I just got similar news! Did you have to repay for the medical and visa cost? Was the oath and fingerprints just that or was it like a second interview? What all did you have to bring with you to the embassy? Sorry for all of the questions. We are struggling and very confused. Any info would help!!

If you are pursuing a fiance visa, it would be better to post your questions at the K1 visa forum.  OP's case is for spouse visa which would have different requirements than for a K1 case.

Hi sir I need your help

I received email for IR1  from Us embassy Islamabad that come for fingerprints and retake oath . in the email the embassy asked for ( updated iv application ds-260 submitted online ) . I already submitted the ds-260 form one year ago but after AP they asked again for ds-260 form.

Right now my question is that how to update or resubmit fresh ds-260 form because there is no option for updating or for resubmitting because the ds-260 form is showing completed from one year  I need your help

Thanks in advance

In that case you have to write an email to national visa centre and explain your situation they might be able to open the ds 260 form that you submitted and allow you to update it.
