I am yet to hear about my own interview, so I can't say anything much. I would say, just be confident and calm, and produce evidences you would be asked for. Do mock interview with each other asking even some personal questions, along with basic information like birthday, birth place, job(s), family members, favorite foods, activities etc. The list is endless. It's normal to be nervous. I know, when I would get my interview scheduled, I would be nervous as you are. Just have faith!

We have been talking about the interview and the best strategy is to be honest about everything.  We are not hiding anything and our relationship is true. But just in case we are bringing all the evidence we can collect. Just to be on the safe side.

Absolutely, that's how it should be.

"Ready to schedule" is different from "Interview was Scheduled".

For some people it takes a couple weeks between them. For others it takes years. It all depends on how backlogged your field office is. I waited 10 months to get an interview after the ready status in NYC.

Wait for the status to change to scheduled and then do the medical.

Hi I wonder if you can help me.  I have been on "Ready to Schedule" for almost 2 years! Any suggestions?

You can try to call the USCIS. Most probably, your case is in the final queue, where you should receive the letter as soon as the backlog is clear for the interview.

That's for employment?  I had my "green card" status updated by a passport stamp 1x. Though I will probably need to go again soon for an updated passport stamp since they are only good for 1 year.
