Hello Everyone,

Just curious if anyone has submitted an application with the same circumstance that i find myself in.

I last saw my fiance in January 2020 and then in March of 2020 we had been gathering all the documents but obviously could not have predicted the pandemic in a million years so the plan was to go on one last vacation confirm that we had plenty of evidence and all of the necessary documentation. During this time i took the letter of intent to marry and she signed it back in March. We have now gathered all the necessary documents to send the application but i worry if the letter of intent will be an issue because its from March. The reason i ask because the application from i understood the letter has to be signed and cannot be a photocopy.

Someone said to send the original and then a photocopy of the more recent one since Cuba's main airport (habana) remains closed.

My fear is going to the whole process and filing spending the money and then getting denied because of the letter of intent sorry just nervous and anxious to get the process started.

11/21/20: I-129F packet shipped via USPS

11/25/20: I-129F delivered to Dallas Lockbox (Lewisville)

11/27/20: Backdated I-129F "received date"

2/23/21: I-129F fee charged to bank account

2/25/21: Text alert NOA1 Receipt/Case Number

3/3/21 :  Received NOA1 Letter in the mail

You understand wrong.  It can be a copy.  Sign, scan. Email and print locally
