Yes they were on the record. He was given Tdap (makes sense because booster shots of this are normal), Measles Mumps Rubella, and Chicken Pox. It could have been worse I guess but they are not cheap.

It sounds like a money grab, hopefully no adverse affects.

It all happened VERY FAST. When they say expedite they mean it. On October 16th our case got to the consulate and on October 21st we got the appointment letter with an appointment date of November 3rd. So 5 days, but two of those days were the weekend. That was for an IR1 but I’m sure the timeframe is similar. We did not get to pick the date and they told us in the letter that if you can’t go to the appointment to expect a significant delay for the next one. When you go online to register for the courier you can pick the biometrics appointment but there were not that many options. We called the medical clinic directly to make an appointment. My husband had to spend 6 days in Juarez because his biometrics was on a Friday and his appointment was on a Tuesday.

Did you have any problem registering your appointment on the website and scheduling the Biometrics?  I try to go through the process of picking the courier and all.  When i get to the payment page it says no appointments are available to try again later.  We received our appointment letter today for Nov 23.  Wont let me pay the fee or schedule the Biometrics.  It seems like the online portal is not picking up the fact that we already have a appointment scheduled.  Any advise would be helpful. :)

You will have to pay the fee at the interview.   I believe it is done between the doc check and the interview. You will be sent to another building (the first one on the left when entering the compound after security as I recall second floor) to pay the cashier.    I'm guessing you have to call the consulate and get an ASC (CAS) appointment.  I think the number is +52 656 344 3003 . You have to figure out how to get a live person. You can use the consulate letter for the ASC and Medical appointment.

I remember in our appointment letter it said you have to wait 48 hours after receiving your appointment letter to make the biometrics appointment. It let us in right away but maybe you are not yet in the system. It would not hurt to call though. We called the ASC directly because there were not many appointment options online and we could make the appointment over the phone as well. The number is +52 656-344-3003. I do not know anything about paying the fee because we did not have to do that for IR-1. Congratulations on your appointment and good luck!!
