Parents as our co-sponsor for AOS

I'm the petitioner and my wife is the beneficiary. We both live with my parents. I don't have enough income so my parents will be our co-sponsors. They also file their tax return jointly.

I have my i-864 filled with all the required evidence (tax returns, W2s, pay stubs, bank statements).

I also have my dad's i-864 filled with all the required evidence (tax returns, W2s, pay stubs, bank statements).

Does my mom also need a separate i-864 or an i-864a with all the required evidence. Since my mom and dad have the same tax returns, do I then need two copies of tax returns?

It depends. If your dad's income alone qualifies for the household size, then just the I-864 from him.  If he needs to combine with your mom's income to qualify, then she fills out I-864a to supplement her income with your dad's.

It wouldn't be enough back then (original interview was scheduled for March) but now we both have enough income and we can also include my dad.
