I didn't see the IR-1 in your profile as it states "other". Please change it so the next person doesn't answer your question with the wrong answer. The mistake was in directing you to the immigrant/non-immigrant designation as that is what a K-1 will see when their visa is just about to be issued. The first sentence is still true for any visa.

Hello guys same thing happen to me, the embassy sent me a mail about doing a new medical exam, I texted the Dra about doing it she told that she needs the embassy permission or the date for my interview. I texted the embassy for more info because they didn’t ask me to do a new interview

Take an appt for the Medical online with the hospital from the approved list and scan n email then the letter or email  you have received with passport. Once they get or they will send you confirmation when to go for medical . You might have to do pcc again , just did mine last week both n sent with passport

This is why it's not a good idea to hijack another member's thread to ask about your own case.  You posted in a K1 sub-forum topic.  People got confused.
