Like the title said I've been waiting 2/3 years now for my RoC from my 2 year GC. I've had one RFE which I've replied to and no further notices since. The letter they sent that proves my residency while pending has lapsed in date as well. I have no way of proving residency atm. I've already contacted them and they haven't given me any more information than I can't find online and with this COVID stuff getting an appointment is impossible. So what do? 

02 Aug 2012 -- Met online

23 Feb 2013 -- Relations began (L)

19 May 2014 -- Visited! :luv:

26 Jun 2014 -- Engaged :dancing:

15 Oct 2014 -- I-129F package finished and mailed to Dallas

17 Oct 2014 -- NOA1 (email) TSC

22 Oct 2014 -- ARN updated

13 May 2015 -- NOA2 (email) :dancing:

19 May 2015 -- NOA2 Hardcopy

4 June 2015 -- NVC received (I think lol) Case number assigned.

11th June 2015 -- NVC sent to Bridgetown

16th June 2015 -- Bridgetown received

17th June 2015 - PCKT3 received
30th June 2015 - PCKT4 received

9th July 2015 - Medical (too many needles :/ )

21st July 2015 - Interview date :goofy:

10th August 2015 - Approved

12th August 2015 - Issued

13th August 2015 - Visa in hand via DHL

24th August 2015 - US arrival (POE MIA)

I'm sorry to hear your application is taking a long time. If you haven't yet, consider contacting your congress representative for help. USCIS is obligated to respond to inquiries from representatives in a timely manner, which may also prompt them to look at your file - - maybe it's sitting forgotten on someone's desk? 

 

You can also use the inbox feature on the newer My Uscis portal to send informal inquiries about your case. 

 

While you can't prove residency at this time, please also know that should you need to prove it (for employment for example), it is possible to get a new extension stamped on your passport. But in some districts it really does require an emergency, like sudden need to travel abroad to help a sickened family member, or being at risk of losing employment etc. Some districts I've seen are more lax about how they handle Infopass appointments for renewal stamps, and don't seem to require an acute emergency.

11/10/16 RFE: Expired I-693 Medical exam and vaccinations (day 391)

11/17/16 RFE response: (1-day priority with signature, delivered but signature waived)

Tier 2 SR: 12/21/16´-- "Case pending decision" (Los Angeles Office should not have responded, file is not with them)

01/13/2017 Infopass:  -- "You probably have nothing to worry about. Your case is in Arizona. Previous SR wrongly responded, new SR to the right office."

01/17/17 InfoPass SR: -- "Pending. We expect decision or other notice in 45 days." Congresswoman's office confirms RFE response has been received.

01/27/17  GC Approved (amid Tr$mp EO chaos)

02/03/17 Card in hand (445 days, non-complicated case (no previous visas, no overstay, no divorces, not high fraud country, no co-sponsor. Just unlucky.))
