F2A - July 2020 Filers within USA

Hi All,

 

I need your help to understand the approximate timelines on my application process, I filed my F2A immigration visa papers with USCIS on 31st July 2020 and I am currently on H1B visa working in Seattle location.

 

I-130 - (Current status - Case received)

(Not sure about the service center)

Filed on 07-31-2020

NOA1 - 08-17-2020

 

I-485 - (Current status - Fingerprint fee received)

(with Seattle local office)

Filed on 07-31-2020

NOA1 - 08-12-2020

 

I-765 - (Current status - Case received)

(with National benefits center)

Filed on 07-31-2020

NOA1 - 08-17-2020

 

I-131 - (Current status - Case received)

(with National benefits center)

Filed on 07-31-2020

NOA1 - 08-17-2020

I believe F2A is banned through the end of the year under the current presidential proclamation.  I am not sure if your I-485 will get denied or "held" until the ban is lifted.

I believe this ban is for people who are outside USA, I am already in USA and working on H1b visa.

I-485 application does not get you a visa.  You are adjusting status.

 

Current estimate for family-based I-485 processing at the Seattle field office is 12.5 to 27.5 months.

will my I-130 go parallel with I-485?? What is the approximate timeline for I-130? Or what could be the overall timeline for receiving green card?

I-485 estimate is for green card application processing.
