What are you trying to figure out? It clearly stares they are not processing Immigrant visas at this time.

you will see NO CR1 approvals for September but they did issue a few dv lottery and 1 iR1 and some other IR visas 

this would be people who interviewed late 2019 or early 2020 and were in AP and the embassy considered a waiver (for the Presidential EO) and finally issued a visa

 

On the Nigerian portal the top approval says 2020 but in their timeline the visa was issued in 2019 and the Nigerian came in 2019 

 

The Lagos embassy can choose to schedule interviews but the country is still under the January 2020 ban

Visas are been issued, if you are eligible for a visa but subject to proclamation and doesn’t qualify for a waiver then you are automatically considered for a waiver which the decision is made by the consular who interviewed you and there is no separate process for this waiver. See here, or do you suggest we that immediate relatives who are subject to proclamation 9645 and 9983 should give up the hope ?

To be “considered for a waiver” you must first be interviewed. If they are not scheduling appointments for your category then you can’t be interviewed, let alone file a waiver. Those who are being interviewed are old cases that were in line before the proclamation was issued or who have other exemptions.

So why are they giving new interview dates for those who is DQ in March without rescheduling those canceled it’s just complicated I guess, let’s just keep an eye out then

I got the same exact email from them when I asked to b rescheduled. We just ve to wait until d ban has been lifed. Mine was scheduled for April 27 2020 but was cancelled due to covid. I had just like 3wks to d interview before it was cancelled, been waiting like forever but I’m not giving up. Fingers crossed

If you read all my screenshots you will see that they are confusing us all,ustraveldocs said they have resumed certain immigrant visa which is the IR1 IR2 CR1 CR2 and so on

That is the normal email response.  They will send a more personal letter, addressing you and/or your case number, when they are ready to schedule or reschedule your specific case.

 

For example, in June the embassy in Ukraine started rescheduling some people who's interviews were cancelled.  When I sent an email asking if they are starting to process visas again, I received a similar response - that due to Covid, the embassy has suspended visa processing.

 

Then in July we were scheduled by the NVC for a late August date.  When I sent an email to the embassy to ask for a different date, I received the same general email.  Then a day later I received a more specific email stating that they had no other date available.

 

Then in the first week of August,  I asked again.  Again, the first email they sent me was that the embassy has suspended visa processing.  Then a few hours later I received another email stating that 2 dates were open and that we could reschedule online.

 

Unless your specific case is ready to be scheduled or rescheduled, you will just get that "visa processing has been suspended" response.

They had resumed visa processing but the protests caused them to shut down again. There is a backlog also. Not sure if they have opened back up. We are still at NVC waiting for an interview date. Been there since June, DQ'd since July 11th and now it's  November so almost 4 months and no interview..

They have started interviewing spousal visa applicants. There were some interviews on Monday and some are scheduled for next week. Those people were DQ in March. I am not sure why they scheduled them before the people who had their interviews canceled due to Covid shut down. They have also started working on people that were on AP prior to the lockdown.

That basically means next year for July DQ's. It may get worse before it gets better,  unfortunately, but still hoping.
