Very common theme. Trump's personality ensured a huge voter turnout. Last time it worked for him, this time it worked against him.

i hate the culture wars but really most of america's issues cant be address because of them. but also journalists are not politicians, but observers.

theres a reason why more mono-cultural societies can have a plethora of social services and goods for people without the "socialist" boogey man becoming an issue while the trope of the "welfare queen" with brown skin has people in trailer parks and low-income rural areas voting against their best interest consistently. or why people feel their personal religion should stop someone else's freedom/choice.

its impossible to ignore bc both sides use them as a wedge issues. when someone runs a campaign basically dog-whistling that blacks and central american latinos will ruin your neighborhood and still get a reasonable amount of votes, thats indicative of a deep rooted issue.

a president cant fix it, but its the truth.

The two party setup is still the biggest detriment. It creates an unfixable problem. Two parties by nature makes every issue a wedge issue. Even having a third moderately viable party would keep things honest on many of the issues. The specter of two parties teaming up would always be present to motivate the other party.

Whats funny is that the Trump Admin  Campaign is suing to try and stop the count of ballots that arrived late in PA, but now its very clear that Biden will not need those to win the state. So Trump actually needs to count those ones if he wants even a snowballs chance in hell of winning the state. The logic here is so very Trump lol

All those votes were sequestered. They may not even need to count them.

So those were not the votes that they have been counting the past 2.5 days?  I understand that they could end up being thrown out therefore they need to be sequestered, but I never saw any indication that they were not being counted.

This is nowhere near as close 2000 and there is a good chance this wont see the light of day at the SCOTUS and even if it does it highly unlikely that there would be a favorable result to the president. The expected margin for Biden in PA will be around 100k, its not going to be close. This thing is over

Possibly, but it doesn't mean it should not be tested as an avenue for contesting the election.  We have no idea how many votes have been received and delivered since 8pm Tuesday evening.

I really don't understand the phobia of counting mail-in ballots early. It's efficient and HELLO it doesn't create a freakin' mess for everyone to sort through. It works for our state, and it didn't seem to detract anyone from voting during early vote period or on election day either. The lines were around blocks.

I tend to agree with you, but I supposed there is a concern that the numbers counted early could be leaked to one or the other campaigns.

There was a lawsuit that they had to wait

I believe that said they only needed to keep them separate, I don't remember there being any stop to counting them.  Isn't this one of the reasons PA said they would not release their numbers until after the last day ballots could be accepted based on the PA Supreme Court law change?

Looks like the Dems are starting the campaign to lose the mid terms! Great strategy

Will Nancy go the way of Newt based on the gains the GOP made or will make in the House?

She has that party by the nuts. They're going to make her speaker again.

Probably, but there are a lot of extreme lefties (I guess we can call them the Squadron now), as well as some of the moderates that are not very happy with her actions along with the House leaders such as Schiff, and Nadler.
